Megan Quesada, MS, LAc

Megan Quesada, MS, LAcMegan Quesada is a Licensed Acupuncturist at University Hospitals Connor Whole Health. She is licensed both by the Ohio State Medical Board and the New York State Office of the Professions, as well as nationally certified as a Diplomate of Acupuncture by the National Certification Commission for Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine (NCCAOM).

She has extensive training in myofascial and trigger point release therapy based on the Acupuncture Physical Medicine (APM) teachings of Dr. Mark Seem, as well as learning Japanese-style acupuncture under Kiiko Matsumoto. Post-graduation, she served as faculty at Tri-State College of Acupuncture, assisting on the APM clinical team.

Her extensive experience in trigger point release needling (sometimes known as “dry-needling”), as well as Neurofunctional Acupuncture, has allowed Megan to treat a wide range of pain and injuries, both long-standing and brand new. While her specialty is Sports Medicine, Megan also works to support patients with migraine and headaches, emotional issues, stress, anxiety, and trauma. Additionally, Megan volunteers with the Global Healthworks Foundation, providing healthcare to indigenous communities in rural Guatemala.

Megan’s treatment style looks to straddle the line between modern and traditional medicine by exploring how acupuncture works on a physiological level, while honoring and remaining true to the philosophies and teachings of those who came before her.
