Behavioral Health Intensive Outpatient Program (BH IOP)
The University Hospitals Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP) is a daily group therapy treatment program led by a multidisciplinary team of clinicians. While experiencing the many benefits of group therapy, each patient in the program also receives an individualized treatment plan and medication management. Prior to discharge from the program, we facilitate follow-up appointments in order to ensure continuity of care.
A comprehensive patient assessment is required for admission to the IOP.
To contact the IOP or to make a referral, email us at MDPIOP@UHHospitals.org. Alternatively, you can call our Cleveland office at 216-844-2874 or Westlake office at 216-851-8574.
If you have a medical concern, please call either your doctor or a University Hospitals specialist by Requesting an Appointment online or by calling 855-337-1662 (1-855-337-1662).
If you have a potentially life-threatening emergency, call 9-1-1.
