The Department of Radiology values resident and attending camaraderie both inside and outside of work. We host an annual welcome event and have a long tradition of resident activities outside of the hospital, such as picnics on Lake Erie at Edgewater Park, a night out in The Flats or Downtown Cleveland, flag football games, Friendsgiving or a day trip to the Geneva wineries.
One of the department’s initiatives is resident wellness. Our longitudinal educational curriculum schedules events throughout the year during our daily conference time to highlight wellness of the mind and body, including yogo, massage sessions, postural lessons, mediation and mindfulness.
Collaboration through National and Local Conferences
For radiology-related collaboration, residents and fellows enjoy time together at radiology conferences throughout the country where they are able to meet and connect with department alumni around the country. We attend multiple local and national events sponsored by the department as well as industry partnerships.
