Internal Medicine Residency
Internal Medicine Residency Program Curriculum
Our ACGME accredited Internal Medicine Residency Program uses a block schedule, which represents a four-week period, although some rotations may be 0.5 block long. The intern schedule is based upon 13 blocks. A block schedule makes the switch days standard and facilitates days off and weekend coverage.
Both University Hospitals Cleveland Medical Center and the Louis Stokes Cleveland Veteran Affairs Medical Center are dedicated to patient safety and quality improvement. With the commitment, our Internal Medicine Residency Program curriculum includes a dedicated process improvement project.
