UH Free Dermatology Clinic at the Glenville Wellness Center
Your Skin Health Matters: Free Dermatology Services for the Community

Did you know that individuals who are underinsured or uninsured are at a higher risk for severe outcomes from conditions that are often preventable or treatable? These include serious skin conditions like melanoma, fungal infections, hair loss, and more. Without access to affordable dermatological care, many experience lower quality of life, more missed workdays, and a greater risk of permanent health complications.
We’re here to help.
Thanks to a new community initiative led by physicians and medical students from the University Hospitals Department of Dermatology, residents of the Glenville area now have access to a free dermatology clinic offering skin care services, education, and referrals.
Located at the new University Hospitals Community Center in Glenville, 10527 Orville Avenue (next to the Davis apartment building), the clinic is part of an ongoing effort to provide essential care and build awareness around skin health.
About the Clinic
The inaugural UH Free Dermatology Clinic was held October 10, 2024, and moving forward, the clinic will continue to provide free skin screenings and treatments on the first Thursday of every month. From 5 – 7:30 p.m., dermatology resident physicians and medical students will be available to assist with a range of skin care needs, including:
- Skin cancer screenings
- Acne treatment
- Rash diagnosis and treatment
- Hair loss consultations
- Fungal infections
In addition to offering free treatment, the clinic will provide recommendations for medications and referrals to additional care as needed.
