Patient Satisfaction Reviews
I CAN'T SAY ENOUGH about my Breast Cancer Medical Team. ***, Dr. Simpson and *** are the BEST doctors and humans I have ever met in the medical field. They are VERY knowledgeable, compassionate, and willing to listen to my concerns and questions regarding any research I have done. The don't treat me like "protocol", they treat me as *** by getting to know me, my personality and even my family! I recently lost both of my parents and at my appointments since their deaths ***, EACH of them started my appointments with showing concern and empathy to me. I pray that UH DOES NOT LOSE them as doctors, it would be a disservice to their patients. BEYOND BLESSED for all 3 of them and their team being on my Breast Cancer journey.
Everything was excellent thank you
I met Dr Simpson for the first time at this appointment. She was very kind and thorough in her explanations of what needs to be done. My husband and I were both impressed with everything she had to say and what she was going to do for me.
An overall great experience. The information and care provided by Dr. Simpson and *** left me feeling like a ton of bricks have been lifted off my shoulders. They were kind, caring, and very informative. I feel confident and safe with them.
Dr. Simpson and her nurse, *** were extremely caring and explained all the questions that we asked. Extremely kind and polite.
Dr Simpson is a wonderful, caring doctor. She is very kind and compassionate and I would recommend her to anyone!! She LISTENS to you about your concerns! You are very lucky to have her on your staff!!
Dr. Ashley Simpson is the best breast surgeon kind and explains best course for treatment.
Dr. Ashley Simpson is the absolute best!!! If it wasn't for her, I would not be a *** cancer survivor!!!!

Very good care
Dr. Ashley Simpson is the most compassionate, capable surgeon. She is knowledgeable, professional, and a fantastic listener. I am so grateful to have her as my doctor.
I understand the provider is busy and but communication is slow.
She was very apologetic for the wait and said she spent more time with previous patient than she had planned
All was great! This was consult prior to ***. Was pretty straight forward visit. Course of action was planned and scheduled.
Industry Relationships
University Hospitals is committed to transparency in our interactions with industry partners, such as pharmaceutical, biotech, or medical device companies. At UH, we disclose practitioner and their family members’ ownership and intellectual property rights that are or in the process of being commercialized. In addition, we disclose payments to employed practitioners of $5,000 or more from companies with which the practitioners interact as part of their professional activities. These practitioner-industry relationships assist in developing new drugs, devices and therapies and in providing medical education aimed at improving quality of care and enhancing clinical outcomes. At the same time, UH understands that these relationships may create a conflict of interest. In providing this information, UH desires to assist patients in talking with their practitioners about industry relationships and how those relationships may impact their medical care.
UH practitioners seek advance approval for certain new industry relationships. In addition, practitioners report their industry relationships and activities, as well as those of their immediate family members, to the UH Office of Outside Interests annually. We review these reports and implement management plans, as appropriate, to address conflicts of interest that may arise in connection with medical research, clinical care and purchasing decisions.
