Jean is the only Dr. That actually sits and listens and is concerned. I am most comfortable with her. She is very personable and a real joy to see. She make me feel extremely comfortable.

After seeing 3 other health care providers for perimenopausal symptoms, I feel like Dr. Marino is the first one who actually listened to my symptoms and concerns and helped provide a true plan for care. She was empathetic, not dismissive. She gave options on how to treat, explained what she sees in other patients, and solicited my input when recommending options. I finally walked out of a doctor's appointment with hope that things will improve.

The folks in that office are lovely, friendly, competent. I usually MyChart and follow up with a phone call leaving a voicemail. Even if the assistant to Jean is out that day, another nurse follows up replying to my urgent message and I can get an appointment. Jean Marino, my provider, is wonderful--kind, knowledgeable, understanding my concern for the problems I have. Even is she is out of the office, she gets back to me immediately on her return.

She is absolutely amazing. I recommend her to all of my friends and coworkers. One of my biggest fears is getting a Pap smear and my provider was incredibly respectful of my fear and talked me through the whole thing. It wasn't even painful like I was expecting. I cannot say enough good things about Jean Marino. She is a valuable asset at UH.

I was referred for a mammography. I scheduled and went to the appointment. Unfortunately, I was turned away because it had not been a full year since my last mammogram. This was very inconvenient but everyone involved was very nice to me. I felt cared for!

University Hospitals is committed to transparency in our interactions with industry partners, such as pharmaceutical, biotech, or medical device companies. At UH, we disclose practitioner and their family members’ ownership and intellectual property rights that are or in the process of being commercialized.
