Other Amenities at UH Conneaut Medical Center

Ensuring guests have all the services they need during their visit is one way we work to provide a less stressful hospital experience. With this goal in mind, we offer the following amenities:

Onsite Dining Options

Located on the first floor of the hospital, the Conneaut Café is committed to promoting good health by providing an array of items made from fresh ingredients that meet our wellness criteria. The Café offers a variety of choices including coffee bar, salad bar, hot entrees and daily specials cooked to order, pizza and more. “Grab-N-Go” snacks, salads and sandwiches are also available for take-out, along with a wide selection of hot and cold beverages. Microwaves are available. Bank cards accepted.

The Café also offers healthier options through our Mindful Nutrition program, which combines great flavor and optimal nutrition in a wide array of delicious entrees, salads, soups, sides and desserts.

Café Hours

The Café is open daily from 8 – 10 a.m. and 11 a.m. – 1:30 p.m.

Vending Machines

Vending machines are located in the Café and are available 24 hours a day.

Micro Mart Self-Serve

The Micro Mart Self-Serve station is open 24 hours a day, offering sandwiches, salads and freshly prepared meals that can be reheated.

Visitors who would like to order a room service meal and eat with a patient can pre-purchase a meal in the Café. The visitor simply asks the cashier for a $8 guest tray ticket and pays by cash or credit card. Be sure to save the receipt. The visitor can then order through room service, just as a patient would. When meals are delivered, the receipt is exchanged for the guest tray.

Free Wi-Fi

UH Conneaut Medical Center offers free wireless high-speed internet for patients and visitors. To connect, please follow these steps:

• Turn on the laptop or other Wi-Fi device with wireless enabled
• Connect to the wireless network “UH_Guest”
• Launch the Web browser and go to the website www.UHhospitals.org
• Some users may need to configure the SSID or network name to “UH_Guest.”

Lost and Found

If you find an item that doesn’t belong to you or you are missing one that may have been left in the hospital, please visit the main lobby reception desk and ask the attendant to contact Protective Services for you.

Our staff will forward any mail we receive after a patient has been discharged to the individual’s home address via the United States Postal Service.
