Reduced bodyweight helps athletes to train with less pain and enables them to maintain fitness levels after injury or surgery.
- Blood Flow Restriction Therapy (BFRT)
-
BFRT uses a specialized tourniquet that is inflated to a customized pressure intermittently to reduce blood flow to the extremity which performing rehabilitation therapy. The pressure allows for the maintenance of arterial blood flow while limiting venous outflow to the site of the injury. BFRT has been shown to enhance outcomes and shorten rehab time.
- Eccentron
-
Designed by doctors and physical therapists, Eccentron is a highly specialized piece of equipment that targets the eccentric, or muscle lengthening, portion of an exercise, usually by slowing it down to increase the intensity. Muscle lengthening under negative resistance has been proven to enhance overall athletic performance including strength, power, reaction times and agility.
- Shock Wave Therapy
-
A noninvasive treatment that stimulates the body’s natural healing processes by releasing growth factors into the injured tissue. Benefits include pain relief and enhanced healing of injured tendons, ligaments and other soft tissues.
- Game Ready
-
A system that delivers iceless cold, heat, contrast and compression therapies for the treatment of acute and chronic injuries. Game Ready technology is proven to decrease pain and swelling, increase post-op range of motion and reduce the need for pain medications.
- Trigger Point Dry Needling
-
A proven therapy that inserts thin needles into muscles that contain trigger points. A twitch response occurs and deactivates the contracted painful muscle. It can be effective with myofascial pain, chronic pain, headaches and impaired mobility.
