Lindsey Hoerrle, CPNP, joined UH Rainbow Ashtabula Pediatrics in November 2023.

How old were you when you felt the call to become a doctor?

My mother was a nurse, so I grew up having an interest in nursing. When I went to college I decided to major in nursing. From that point on I knew I wanted to work in pediatrics. While working as a nurse in the NICU, I knew I wanted to further my career and pursue an advanced degree as a Certified Pediatric Nurse Practitioner.

Areas of clinical interest:

Pediatrics. Always knew I wanted to work with kids.

Who or what inspires you and why?

My family. They are my biggest supporters. I wouldn’t be where I am today without them.

Dog or cat?

Dog. Especially my two dogs, Bane and Teddy.

Coffee or tea?

Coffee. I prefer iced lattes, no matter what the weather is.

Cavs, Guardians or Browns?

Browns.

Favorite book (outside of medical journals)?

Harry Potter books. Still my favorite series to this day.
