Meet Julie Javorek, MD of UH Rainbow Kids in the Sun

Julie Javorek, MD joined Kids in the Sun, in Broadview Hts. and Strongsville, earlier this year in April.  Her family just got bigger as she recently welcomed baby number 3!  Keep reading to get to know Julie a little better:

Q: How old were you when you felt the call to become a doctor?

A: I knew I wanted to work with kids early on, from my first job as a summer camp counselor. I decided to become a physician in college, when I was really enjoying my nutrition and science courses.

Q: Who or what inspires you and why?

A: My kids inspire me with their endless energy and enthusiasm :)

Q: Dog or cat?

A: Dog … but for right now, my 3 kids keep me busy enough! 

Coffee or tea?

A: Cold brew. All year long.

Q: Cavs, Guardians or Browns?

A: Guardians. Some of my best childhood memories are going to games with my dad.

Q: Favorite book (outside of medical journals)?

A: Anything with a good twist!

Q: People would be surprised to know that I . . . 

A: I was featured in the Wall Street Journal in high school in an article on teen interior decorating.
