Patient Experience Reviews
The doctor is good. ***
She's expertise and looks great.
I decided to make a change in my Gyn provider, and after some research I chose Dr. Zhau. She exceeded my expectations. Her skills, knowledge and expertise were very impressive. But what made my visit even more positive was Dr. Zhau's warm and welcoming demeanor. She took time to chat with me before Initiating her exam, which was very much appreciated. She also asked about any gym concerns I had, and then shared some information about a particular treatment option that might be helpful for me. In addition, when considering my overall health needs, she recommended and put in an order for some testing which I hadn't thought about before, but agree should be done. Needless to say, I'm thrilled to have her as my new gynecologist.
Dr. Zhau and her team are always professional, efficient and compassionate.
Dr. Zhao is exceptional. She listened carefully to my questions and concerns, responded thoughtfully to each of my questions and made me feel seen and heard. In addition, she had helpful answers to provide and good suggestions to offer. The nurse that I dealt with was also wonderful. She was caring, had a sense of humor and put me at ease.
Provider was great ***
Dr. Zhou is a great provider. She gave answers to my questions and was very personable and charismatic. I am always comfortable with her in her office, which is essential when visiting someone in this specialty. I cannot recommend Dr. Zhou enough, and I would tell any of my family and friends to go to her!
Dr. Zhao is truly a gift to the medical profession and an incredible asset to the UH team. I have never in my life experienced the care, kindness and compassion that Dr Zhao shows every appointment, phone call or my chart message.

Industry Relationships
University Hospitals is committed to transparency in our interactions with industry partners, such as pharmaceutical, biotech, or medical device companies. At UH, we disclose practitioner and their family members’ ownership and intellectual property rights that are or in the process of being commercialized. In addition, we disclose payments to employed practitioners of $5,000 or more from companies with which the practitioners interact as part of their professional activities. These practitioner-industry relationships assist in developing new drugs, devices and therapies and in providing medical education aimed at improving quality of care and enhancing clinical outcomes. At the same time, UH understands that these relationships may create a conflict of interest. In providing this information, UH desires to assist patients in talking with their practitioners about industry relationships and how those relationships may impact their medical care.
UH practitioners seek advance approval for certain new industry relationships. In addition, practitioners report their industry relationships and activities, as well as those of their immediate family members, to the UH Office of Outside Interests annually. We review these reports and implement management plans, as appropriate, to address conflicts of interest that may arise in connection with medical research, clinical care and purchasing decisions.
