Patient Experience Reviews
Experience was fair.
Dr.Segal is outstanding in terms of explaining my condition and options for treatment. His staff is caring and supportive. I'm grateful for their competence and compassion.
Dr. Segal is the best
Wonderful
Dr. Segel provided excellent patient care. He ordered x-rays and bloodwork as follow up to my visit. I have been going into the patient portal for results. Unfortunately, I do not have a follow up visit with Dr. Segel until late August to discuss results and next steps. I am on a wait list if an appt is available sooner.
I love doctor Segal and his team. Everyone there is always amazing. They always take the time you need never make you feel rushed and always make sure you understand things and take the time to listen to what you have to say. All doctors and their teams should treat people as well as Dr. Segal and his team.
I have been seeing this provider for many years. Care is good.
Good experience
Explained all info clearly. Went in depth of what meds needed, spent alot of time with me. Did not rush appt.
Took time to listen to my concerns and did the tests to determine if he was the best dr to be seeing for my conditions.
Dr. Segal is the best!
Doctor wad Very attentive and listened to my concerns. I Was not pressured into a treatment I was unsure of.
Dr Segal was outstanding in his ability to assimilate all my information, consider all my concerns and include me in the process. He never made me feel rushed. I didn't know doctors like him still existed! I'm looking forward to following up.

Good care
The doc was excellent. Explained clearly and made sure I understood.
Very nice and caring dr
Very good. Doctor just ask if there's problems call the office
Dr Segal is a specialist so this was an annual "check-in" appointment and time to confirm continued protocol.
I was told that the issue I was having was something and it's not had to go elsewhere for a second opinion
VERY PLEASED WITH DR, SEGAL AND HIS STAFF
A good experience with questions answered.

Industry Relationships
University Hospitals is committed to transparency in our interactions with industry partners, such as pharmaceutical, biotech, or medical device companies. At UH, we disclose practitioner and their family members’ ownership and intellectual property rights that are or in the process of being commercialized. In addition, we disclose payments to employed practitioners of $5,000 or more from companies with which the practitioners interact as part of their professional activities. These practitioner-industry relationships assist in developing new drugs, devices and therapies and in providing medical education aimed at improving quality of care and enhancing clinical outcomes. At the same time, UH understands that these relationships may create a conflict of interest. In providing this information, UH desires to assist patients in talking with their practitioners about industry relationships and how those relationships may impact their medical care.
UH practitioners seek advance approval for certain new industry relationships. In addition, practitioners report their industry relationships and activities, as well as those of their immediate family members, to the UH Office of Outside Interests annually. We review these reports and implement management plans, as appropriate, to address conflicts of interest that may arise in connection with medical research, clinical care and purchasing decisions.

As of December 31, 2016, Allen Segal did not disclose any Outside Relationships with Industry.
