Dr. Zellers earned his medical degree from Midwestern University Chicago College of Osteopathic Medicine in Downers Grove, Illinois. His postdoctoral training included a residency in internal medicine at the Cleveland Clinic in Cleveland, Ohio, followed by a fellowship in cardiovascular disease at the University of Kentucky Medical Center in Lexington, Kentucky. He then completed a fellowship in interventional cardiology at St Vincent Hospitals Heart Center of Indiana in Indianapolis, Indiana. Dr. Zellers is triple board certified in cardiovascular disease, interventional cardiology, and nuclear cardiology.
With more than 15 years of experience in the medical field, Dr. Zellers specializes in the diagnosis and treatment of the full span of common and complex heart conditions, including coronary artery disease, heart valve disorders, heart rhythm disorders and congestive heart failure.
Dr. Zellers has co-authored publications in peer-reviewed medical journals such as the Journal of the American College of Cardiology (JACC) and JACC Cardiovascular Interventions on topics related to interventional cardiovascular techniques. He is also recognized as a fellow of the American College of Cardiology (FACC).
