About

Eric Yeh, MD, joined University Hospitals in October 2020 as a sleep specialist in the Division of Pulmonary, Critical Care & Sleep Medicine. He is originally from Taiwan and grew up in Canada. Dr. Yeh currently serves as Director of Clinical Operations and Quality Improvement for University Hospitals Sleep Medicine, and Associate Program Director of the Sleep Medicine Fellowship Program at Case Western Reserve University School of Medicine.

Dr. Yeh has a Bachelor of Science in Physics from the University of British Columbia in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada. He earned his medical degree from Peking University Health Science Center (Beijing University) in Beijing, China. Dr. Yeh then completed his family medicine residency and sleep medicine fellowship at UH Cleveland Medical Center in association with Case Western Reserve University School of Medicine.

Dr. Yeh is board certified in both family medicine and sleep medicine. He has special interest in enhancing positive airway pressure (PAP) therapy compliance, developing alternative therapies for obstructive sleep apnea (OSA), treating resistant hypersomnolence and improving inpatient sleep medicine. His research interests include convenient diagnostic tools and alternative treatments for OSA, epidemiology of sleep disorders across different specialties and the general population, and recognition and treatment of hypoventilation in the inpatient setting.

Dr. Yeh is an active member of both the American Academy of Sleep Medicine and the American Academy of Family Medicine. In recognition of his clinical excellence, he was named one of Cleveland Magazine’s Best Doctors in 2022, 2023 and 2024.

We review these reports and implement management plans, as appropriate, to address conflicts of interest that may arise in connection with medical research, clinical care and purchasing decisions.
