About
Zoe Walters, MD, is an otolaryngologist and head and neck surgeon at University Hospitals. She practices in Westlake, Ohio, and sees both pediatric and adult patients.
A Cleveland native, Dr. Walters earned her B.A. in biology from Colorado College in Colorado Springs, Colorado. As an undergraduate she also completed a medical practice and policy program through the Danish Institute for Study Abroad in Copenhagen. Dr. Walters went on to earn her medical degree from the University of Cincinnati College of Medicine in Cincinnati, Ohio. She completed her residency in otolaryngology–head and neck surgery at the University of Cincinnati College of Medicine.
Dr. Walters is active in clinical research and has authored numerous peer-reviewed articles published in renowned medical journals. She has also presented her research at several national meetings and conferences. Dr. Walters’ clinical and research interests include chronic rhinosinusitis, sleep surgery, quality improvement, and advancing women in surgery. She prides herself on being a patient advocate and taking a patient-centered approach to care.
Awards and honors Dr. Walters has earned during her career include the University of Cincinnati College of Medicine Distinguished Service Award and the Christian R. Holmes Memorial Award from University of Cincinnati Department of Otolaryngology–Head and Neck Surgery.
Outside of work, Dr. Walters enjoys spending time with her family, hiking with her dogs, and exploring the food scene around Cleveland.

At UH, we disclose practitioner and their family members’ ownership and intellectual property rights that are or in the process of being commercialized.
