Patient Experience Reviews
Best experience I've ever had with a UH office
Dr. Walter is the best hand surgeon ever, he's kind and patient and very compassionate and explains everything clearly when you ask questions. I'm so grateful to have him on my orthopedic team at UH and have already recommended him to other friends. I love seeing him whenever I experience hand problems because he knows exactly what needs to be done to ease the pain and problems and help me get back to doing what I love the most. Highly recommended doctor!
He was very good wish all doctors were like him.
I see this provider whenever I have a specific need for pain relief for pain from arthritis in my wrist. This visit, I also had questions about discomfort in my hips.
Very professional and yet personal at the same time. Good 'bedside manner'. Polite and very informative.
Excellent care and concern
This provider has always been excellent and his staff is also excellent thank you
My visit went smooth. The care was great. The information was excellent. Just wish they had samples to give to people for certain things from the vendors. Rubs etc.
Dr. Walters is an excellent physician. I recommend him to anyone who asks.
Great experience
This Doctor is a asset to your hospital.
This is the orthopedic doctor I've been struggling to find. I will see him for my ongoing treatments. He's the best I've been able to find in 15 years. He's started relief of my pain on the first visit. Very effective. Thank you!
Very good doctor and excellent surgeon.
Very good experience. Excellent doctor
I really liked Dr Walter ***
It was a good experience.
It was a very good visit.
Very satisfied with my recent experience with UH staff. *** Dealing with sick hurting people all day can be very challenging. It seams like after covid health care professionals were experiencing burnout at a greater rate all throughout. Being a patient I really just wanted 2 things. First off I wanted my hand repaired. Secondly I want to feal like people cared. Both of which were achieved. I really appreciate the level of care I felt from everyone I've met so far. Everyone showed a genuine interest in helping me regain use of my hand. Alot of health care professionals today just don't care and that's tough for patients. I didn't experience any of this with the UH team I've met so far. I'm very thankful to all the UH staff.
Excellant care

Good dr. Great people
I had a very good experience with this doctor and I would recommend him to anyone. I broke my collarbone and he operated on it the next day. I am very pleased.
Great medical care. Thanks!
I am pleased with my appointment. I am looking for a different health provider and this was a good start for UH.
Dr. Walter & Staff were very professional as always.I received a Cortisone shot in my hand during this visit, my hand is already feeling better!
Excellent front office staff. They are very courteous, helpful, and welcoming. The office *** was exceptionally courteous and welcoming, and made the check in extremely easy and quick. The Doctor's assistant *** very attentive, courteous, and welcoming. She took her time recording my concerns and medical issues. Dr. Walter presented himself as a caring, attentive, and jovial provider who took his time listening to my medical needs and provided detailed explanation of my condition and various options in addressing it.
I love this doctor as he is very skilled and knowledgeable. He connects very well with patients and is very personable.
Ive had Dr. Walters on other issues. He as always good
Best patient care ever. Doctor was my 3rd doctor for my hand. Found the problem and have a test follow up scheduled

I'm so grateful for Dr. Walter and his staff for the wonderful help I received!
My follow up appointment went very well.
BEST DOCTOR EVER STAFF IS WONDERFUL>.
He seemed very nice. I didn't ask many questions because I had a trigger finger before. The office gave me a list of providers to choose from to get my nerve X-ray. I'm in the process now as some of these are quite far away.
Dr Walter was very professional, personable and answered all of my questions. I was completely satisfied with my visit. He explained options for my treatment of Tennis Elbow. Would highly recommend him. Just a wonderful Doctor !!!!
My first time seeing Dr. Walter. I'm hoping that I do not continue to have issues with "trigger finger" but if I do; I will return to see him. He was professional, knowledgeable and kind.
1 time seeing the Dr explained to me the probable for pain and solutions if doesn't clear make appointment to move onto next step, Quite happy with explanation and will try, both orthopedic doctors I have seen (1 for hips 1 for hands) have been very professional and polite and would recommend to anyone.
Everything was good! Everyone was helpful and caring
Good
Everyone at this location is fantastic. Dr. Walter took his time with me and never felt rushed
I love Dr. Walter: he very clearly explained to me how Kenalog injections in my right hand to treat trigger fingers had, at best, a 50-70% chance of success and should I need it, to call him in two months for additional treatment if needed. So farso goodexcept one untreated finger is mildly bothersome and I may call him to ask whether or not to treat it or leave it alone. Excellent doctor, loved seeing him!
Dr.Walters was fine , prompt , listened , talked about what we was going to do , had me bring in my xrays from wellnow gave me shot in my hand / finger ...wouldn't let him do the other 2 fingers cause it hurt way to bad , told me what cream I could use on it to help it out n that if in when I needed him again , to come back !!! Overall was a good experience n very caring respectful doctor !
