Doctor v is amazing as always is wonderful and kind to my children and explains everything at the appropriate understanding for my children to understand and for me to understand. He is always patient, always kind, always informative, he's amazing, he deserves an award for his patience. I have stayed with him for 12 years. Because he is an excellent doctor he cares about the children and he cares about the parents and having them understand how to help their children. I can go on and on and on and I wish there was some way to give him some kind of recognition for the amazing job he does. Ty Dr V!!!!!!

Nurses and physician are excellent. No complaints about my care at all. The receptionist is always unfriendly, even on the phone she is rude and seems unhappy. This isn't just a one time occurrence with her, It's every interaction. Everyone else is amazing!

Dr. V is an amazing doctor who truly cares about his patients. He has done multiple check up calls for my son during July. Since we had to rush our son to the ER. Once when he called I missed the phone call and he messaged me on the UH portal. This is not the only time he has gone beyond for us. During a medication shortage he worked with our insurance to ensure my son would have his medication. The nurse is also amazing. She has helped us out too. The receptionist is also great. We are truly grateful for Dr. V and his team.

We've always had a great experience with Dr. V which is why I chose him as my children's pediatrician. He is always very calm, kind and knowledgeable. I never feel rushed when visiting him and he always makes sure to tell us we can call or reach out at any time in between appointments if any problems or concerns arise.

Dr. Vogelsang is a wonderful doctor. I am sad that I am moving on to an adult doctor now that I am 20 years old because he takes time to listen to me and has been great for me. Kids are lucky to have such a great doctor and I will miss him. I know my next doctor will not be as good.

*** has seen Dr. V since he was born (except for the 3 years we were in Indiana from ages 8-10) and we've been very happy with his care.

Industry Relationships

University Hospitals is committed to transparency in our interactions with industry partners, such as pharmaceutical, biotech, or medical device companies. At UH, we disclose practitioner and their family members’ ownership and intellectual property rights that are or in the process of being commercialized. In addition, we disclose payments to employed practitioners of $5,000 or more from companies with which the practitioners interact as part of their professional activities. These practitioner-industry relationships assist in developing new drugs, devices and therapies and in providing medical education aimed at improving quality of care and enhancing clinical outcomes. At the same time, UH understands that these relationships may create a conflict of interest. In providing this information, UH desires to assist patients in talking with their practitioners about industry relationships and how those relationships may impact their medical care.

UH practitioners seek advance approval for certain new industry relationships. In addition, practitioners report their industry relationships and activities, as well as those of their immediate family members, to the UH Office of Outside Interests annually. We review these reports and implement management plans, as appropriate, to address conflicts of interest that may arise in connection with medical research, clinical care and purchasing decisions.
