Nurse Cheryl was fantastic. I have been a patient of this often for many years. This was only the second time I saw her, but she knew everything about me and was extremely attentive to my care and genuinely showed compassion and empathy to me. She wanted me to get better asap and I truly appreciated being seen by her in my time of need.

My first visit with this provider I wanted a provider close to home and that listen to my concerns. The staff was courteous and patient as well as the provider. It was a pleasant first experience I had been trying to find a new HCP for months and could not they were not accepting new patients or you had to book far out for if a physical.

Nurse Practitioner Cheryl was extremely professional and also very personable! She put me at ease and seemed interested not only in hearing about my health concerns from me personally but appeared genuinely interested in my overall lifestyle. I was extremely appreciative of some of the blood work she ordered, like checking my thyroid and B12 levels and also Vitamin D, which I believe is crucial, especially for a ***. I look forward to having her as my healthcare provider!

Industry Relationships

University Hospitals is committed to transparency in our interactions with industry partners, such as pharmaceutical, biotech, or medical device companies. At UH, we disclose practitioner and their family members’ ownership and intellectual property rights that are or in the process of being commercialized. In addition, we disclose payments to employed practitioners of $5,000 or more from companies with which the practitioners interact as part of their professional activities. These practitioner-industry relationships assist in developing new drugs, devices and therapies and in providing medical education aimed at improving quality of care and enhancing clinical outcomes. At the same time, UH understands that these relationships may create a conflict of interest. In providing this information, UH desires to assist patients in talking with their practitioners about industry relationships and how those relationships may impact their medical care.

UH practitioners seek advance approval for certain new industry relationships. In addition, practitioners report their industry relationships and activities, as well as those of their immediate family members, to the UH Office of Outside Interests annually. We review these reports and implement management plans, as appropriate, to address conflicts of interest that may arise in connection with medical research, clinical care and purchasing decisions.

As of December 31, 2016, Cheryl Tatka did not disclose any Outside Relationships with Industry.
