Claire Sullivan, MD, is a preventive cardiologist and lipid specialist at University Hospitals Harrington Heart & Vascular Institute. She is also a Clinical Assistant Professor at Case Western Reserve University School of Medicine.
Dr. Sullivan earned her medical degree from the University of Cincinnati College of Medicine. Her postdoctoral training included a residency in internal medicine, during which she was named chief resident, followed by a fellowship in cardiology at University Hospitals Cleveland Medical Center. She was recognized with numerous awards for her academic achievements.
Dr. Sullivan is board certified in internal medicine and cardiovascular disease. She has also completed specialized training in clinical lipidology. In addition to her patient practice, Dr. Sullivan serves as Program Director of the Cardiology Fellowship at University Hospitals Cleveland Medical Center and Louis Stokes Cleveland VA Medical Center.
Dr. Sullivan is an active member of nationally distinguished organizations including the American College of Cardiology and National Lipid Association. She has authored more than 30 publications and presented at multiple local, regional and national conferences on topics related to preventive cardiology care and lipid interventions.
