Dr. Stopko is awesome. She is always willing to hear my out & address ANY & ALL concerns I have regarding my children! She has never brushed anything off as nothing or it's normal. She is reassuring & willing to put in referrals if/when needed. She is thorough & I love that. My son isn't doctor savvy, he doesn't prefer the doctors but he is so comfortable with her, talks to her etc. That says alot. She is an amazing doctor & we are blessed to have someone who listens and makes us/my children comfortable!!

Katarina Stopko is everything. We love her and have been with her for years. She is excellent with my son who has exceptionalities and always takes her time with him to examine him and make sure he is in a good place. She is very dear to us, and beyond that she is a master in her profession.

Dr. Stopko is a wonderful, knowledgeable, caring, and professional pediatrician. My daughter came for her annual physical. She addressed all our concerns and questions. I know that she is invested in my daughter's care, as she has been her doctor for years. The confidence and faith I have in Dr. Stopko gives me peace of mind, which I don't take for granted. Highly recommend this doctor.

Good experience, but child failed the vision screen with the "Go check kids"( test that Is not covered by insurance,) and the nurse had no explanation about test! Just said that the Dr., will give a referral for the pediatric ophthalmology.

Industry Relationships

University Hospitals is committed to transparency in our interactions with industry partners, such as pharmaceutical, biotech, or medical device companies. At UH, we disclose practitioner and their family members’ ownership and intellectual property rights that are or in the process of being commercialized. In addition, we disclose payments to employed practitioners of $5,000 or more from companies with which the practitioners interact as part of their professional activities. These practitioner-industry relationships assist in developing new drugs, devices and therapies and in providing medical education aimed at improving quality of care and enhancing clinical outcomes. At the same time, UH understands that these relationships may create a conflict of interest. In providing this information, UH desires to assist patients in talking with their practitioners about industry relationships and how those relationships may impact their medical care.

UH practitioners seek advance approval for certain new industry relationships. In addition, practitioners report their industry relationships and activities, as well as those of their immediate family members, to the UH Office of Outside Interests annually. We review these reports and implement management plans, as appropriate, to address conflicts of interest that may arise in connection with medical research, clinical care and purchasing decisions.
