The overall visit was fine. I just really wish there was more that could be done for my issue without trying meds... I honestly was just there going thru the motions, I recently lost my father and I am just treading water some days.

Dr. Sherlock is an excellent doctor. He treated me like a grown human being who knows their mind and understands the consequences of their actions. He was knowledgeable, informative, and confident. He was also the FIRST AND ONLY DOCTOR I've had that actually prescribed a rescue med for my migraines, even though I don't get them often. I didn't know that was even an option! Assuming my surgery goes well, which I assume it will having read several reviews from others about their experience with Dr. Sherlock, he will definitely be the obgyn that I see for issues going forward. I would definitely recommend him to others.

My dear reason to see Dr. Sherlock was to follow up on a finding in a full body scan ordered by another Dr. Dr. Sherlock ordered another test which will decipher if there is a problem.

Everyone was very courteous, professional, and knowledgeable. They took my concern seriously and had no problem identifying my issue. They didn't discuss results because I only received the results Friday (today is Tuesday) and honestly, Dr. Sherlock and the nurse already prepared me for them. We were just waiting for confirmation via the biopsy. My next appointment will be how to remedy the situation now. I have had a good experience with this care team despite the findings. I trust in them completely and know they will see me through this.

This office visit was great. The staff was extremely friendly and the care provider was very caring and explained thing's to me that is very helpful. I already recommended my daughter to this office because I was very happy with the treatment I received from the entire staff and I plan to make this my new doctor for any gynecological concerns I would ever have now.

Industry Relationships

University Hospitals is committed to transparency in our interactions with industry partners, such as pharmaceutical, biotech, or medical device companies. At UH, we disclose practitioner and their family members’ ownership and intellectual property rights that are or in the process of being commercialized. In addition, we disclose payments to employed practitioners of $5,000 or more from companies with which the practitioners interact as part of their professional activities. These practitioner-industry relationships assist in developing new drugs, devices and therapies and in providing medical education aimed at improving quality of care and enhancing clinical outcomes. At the same time, UH understands that these relationships may create a conflict of interest. In providing this information, UH desires to assist patients in talking with their practitioners about industry relationships and how those relationships may impact their medical care.

UH practitioners seek advance approval for certain new industry relationships. In addition, practitioners report their industry relationships and activities, as well as those of their immediate family members, to the UH Office of Outside Interests annually. We review these reports and implement management plans, as appropriate, to address conflicts of interest that may arise in connection with medical research, clinical care and purchasing decisions.
