Patient Experience Reviews
Great experience with Aubrey and staff
First appt. Loved NP and staff. Very attentive
My PCP retired. I chose Aubrey Shearn, CNP as new provider and was very pleased with our 1st visit and look forward to l continuing care with her
This visit with Aubrey has been one of the best I have had! She listened, offered solutions, made good eye contact and made me feel relaxed. Was glad I came to see her. Also everyone I encountered was extremely helpful and accommodating.
I am so grateful I found Aubrey. She is just the caregiver I need to feel in control of my health and wellness and get my life back on track after cancer.
Very good experience with my new primary care manager
We feel very comfortable and happy with our Care Provider. Aubrey takes time with us and answers all our questions. It is rare to find a provider that you trust and respect.
My appointment was quick and my concerns were addressed in a professional and caring manner.
Nurse Practitioner Aubrey is absolutely fantastic! She is relatable and very easy to talk to. You can tell that she truly cares about her patients and their concerns. I have recommended her to friends and family, and as a fellow health care provider, I have been nothing short of impressed by her and her entire office.
I am SO glad I found Aubrey. She is the perfect healthcare provider for me. I can't say enough positive things about her.
That was the first time I went to this facility and I was truly impressed. My PCP recommended me going there after I called his office. It is a long drive for me to get there but so worth every mile!
Aubrey inspires trust! I feel like we are a team working together on my medical and mental health journey.I also wanted to note that, for the first time, the nurse who brought me back had clearly reviewed my demographic information and addressed me by my preferred name and used my preferred pronouns. I am not one to correct others when my preferred pronouns are not used, because it is often uncomfortable and I don't want to bother. The fact that the nurse noted and used my name and pronouns was a surprisingly emotional experience for me. It really meant a lot. I felt respected and seen. Thank you!
Aubrey always listens and makes me feel she is on my side. She is friendly and thoughtful and I trust her expertise.
Yes my next annual visit was schedule by the staff

Dr Shearn is new to me. She is replacing my previous dr Mary Revolinsky who is moving to Fla.
This was my first visit with Aubrey as *** is no longer in practice here. Aubrey is wonderful!
Aubrey is wonderful- she is knowledgeable, compassionate, empathetic, and not judgmental. I know I can talk to her about any concerns I have and she will always help in whatever way she can.
I love my doctor Aubrey she is so understanding and always has a smile when she comes into the room then she gives me a big hug!!! I truly have never had a primary NP/doctor so sweet and
Aubrey is a very intelligent and caring doctor. I will never go to another doctor other than her.
Aubrey is always prompt, attentive to detail and explains everything, so that I understand.
Great service. I am very pleased with my new care
Love Dr.Aubrey! She's got the biggest heart and really cares for her patients
Aubrey is probably the best care provider I've seen, and I've seen a lot between cancer and regular medical needs. She is kind, empathetic, she listens and considers how I want to proceed with meds, exams, follow up, etc. I never feel backed into a corner with her, and that is very important for someone with a history of trauma. She could not do anything better. ***
Shearn is a great provider who takes time to understand the patient as a person and their health experience
She respected my concerns and requests
Very satisfied
*** exceptional service from Aubrey and ***. I don't care where Aubrey would practice, I would follow her as long as I'm in Ohio. ***
My doctor is great. She talks to me like a person, not just a patient. She puts me at ease and I really appreciate that.
Very caring and understanding. Never feel rushed. Always feel like I am a real person.
She's the best.
Industry Relationships
University Hospitals is committed to transparency in our interactions with industry partners, such as pharmaceutical, biotech, or medical device companies. At UH, we disclose practitioner and their family members’ ownership and intellectual property rights that are or in the process of being commercialized. In addition, we disclose payments to employed practitioners of $5,000 or more from companies with which the practitioners interact as part of their professional activities. These practitioner-industry relationships assist in developing new drugs, devices and therapies and in providing medical education aimed at improving quality of care and enhancing clinical outcomes. At the same time, UH understands that these relationships may create a conflict of interest. In providing this information, UH desires to assist patients in talking with their practitioners about industry relationships and how those relationships may impact their medical care.
UH practitioners seek advance approval for certain new industry relationships. In addition, practitioners report their industry relationships and activities, as well as those of their immediate family members, to the UH Office of Outside Interests annually. We review these reports and implement management plans, as appropriate, to address conflicts of interest that may arise in connection with medical research, clinical care and purchasing decisions.
