Patient Experience Reviews
Everyone was kind compassionate, caring. There is no negative in any way about anything. This is where my girls will be coming.
Great service, very nice, and respectful. I'd like to see Dr Wendy again when needed.
My first time here, I was greeted right away, seen quickly.. Everyone I encountered was so friendly and knowledgeable.. Definitely will be recommending this place to everyone.
Dr. Schowchow called me on three separate occasions after my visit to follow up on my lab results and what to expect from my future care. She went above and beyond, and I will always be grateful.
Dr. Wendy S. Was absolutely amazing. She asked questions and answered all my questions with detailed explanations. She was kind and patient with me. She listened and offered advice that was tailored to me. I truly appreciate her.
I love going to the west shore westlake location, always the friendliest and the most helpful.
Wendy was awesome!!!!
Care provider was excellent, check out receptionist was lazy and very uninterested in her job when scheduling me for my next appointment, slouched to one side hand on her chin annoyed when I asked her to repeat herself
Great staff and my provider is very patient she makes you feel very comfortable about everything it's hard to find good and respectful doctors nowadays very grateful for Dr. Wendy
I absolutely adore Wendy and the rest of the staff has always been very pleasant and helpful. Overall I have been very happy with the care I receive.
It was my first time seeing her and I was very happy with my care. She and her assistant *** were great, kind, and thorough.
***, the medical assistant was apologetic that the staff was running behind because one of the providers was stuck in surgery. Even though the care team was overwhelmed, she still took her time and treated me like a patient and not a number in a queue waiting to be seen which often times happens with other medical providers. Wendy, the Nurse Practitioner was also very helpful and knowledgable, listening to my concerns and offering helpful recommendations.
Industry Relationships
University Hospitals is committed to transparency in our interactions with industry partners, such as pharmaceutical, biotech, or medical device companies. At UH, we disclose practitioner and their family members’ ownership and intellectual property rights that are or in the process of being commercialized. In addition, we disclose payments to employed practitioners of $5,000 or more from companies with which the practitioners interact as part of their professional activities. These practitioner-industry relationships assist in developing new drugs, devices and therapies and in providing medical education aimed at improving quality of care and enhancing clinical outcomes. At the same time, UH understands that these relationships may create a conflict of interest. In providing this information, UH desires to assist patients in talking with their practitioners about industry relationships and how those relationships may impact their medical care.
UH practitioners seek advance approval for certain new industry relationships. In addition, practitioners report their industry relationships and activities, as well as those of their immediate family members, to the UH Office of Outside Interests annually. We review these reports and implement management plans, as appropriate, to address conflicts of interest that may arise in connection with medical research, clinical care and purchasing decisions.
