Good experience
This provider answered all of my questions and seemed very interested in my overall well-being. I was very happy with this experience.
The receptionist was extremely helpful. I had the wrong day for my appointment was Tuesday and my appointment was on Thursday though. She arranged for another nurse to see me that day because we had traveled an hour to the appointment. When I saw Susan she was extremely kind. I have lost my son in the last 3 months and am suffering immensely from the grief. She invited a social worker to come and talk with me and make referrals to grief counselors. At the end of the appointment, I felt so grateful that I was seen and that I was referred to further help. Also, my follow-up appointment was scheduled for me. I am appreciative, grateful, and want to acknowledge the superior care with which I was handled.
Susan Sandstrom provided excellent care and compassion for me, She is an excellent asset for UH
Everything was excellent
Very caring provider, however, I keep replaying over and over in my mind the comments she made about the size of my breasts even though I had a reduction surgery many years ago
My MRI was an hour late, so that made the doctor's appointment an hour late. But they called her to let her know.
They were very busy, so I told them I would call. Couldn't get thru on Friday afternoon. Called on Saturday had to leave a message with the answering service and it was forwarded on to the office and they messaged me with an appointment.
Susan Sandstrom is caring and efficient and on-time. I will see her in one year, but needed to leave for another doctor's appointment following hers, so I did not schedule the next appointment at that time.
Susan(Kate) is great- always listens and answers my questions

Industry Relationships
University Hospitals is committed to transparency in our interactions with industry partners, such as pharmaceutical, biotech, or medical device companies. At UH, we disclose practitioner and their family members’ ownership and intellectual property rights that are or in the process of being commercialized. In addition, we disclose payments to employed practitioners of $5,000 or more from companies with which the practitioners interact as part of their professional activities. These practitioner-industry relationships assist in developing new drugs, devices and therapies and in providing medical education aimed at improving quality of care and enhancing clinical outcomes. At the same time, UH understands that these relationships may create a conflict of interest. In providing this information, UH desires to assist patients in talking with their practitioners about industry relationships and how those relationships may impact their medical care.
UH practitioners seek advance approval for certain new industry relationships. In addition, practitioners report their industry relationships and activities, as well as those of their immediate family members, to the UH Office of Outside Interests annually. We review these reports and implement management plans, as appropriate, to address conflicts of interest that may arise in connection with medical research, clinical care and purchasing decisions.
