Patient Experience Reviews
Very good
Dr. Sabik is extremely thorough.
Dr Sabik is one of the most hard-working, conscientious, and empathic doctors that I have ever met. She is easy to talk to, and speaks to my level of medical knowledge. She has never made me feel rushed, unimportant, foolish, ignorant, or sad and hopeless about my health. She encourages me. I usually feel discouraged, or just neutral, when I leave other doctors' offices. My husband comes with me to all of my appointments, as I have memory problems. He always says, "You are fortunate to have Dr Sabik. She is a really good doctor." I agree!
Great cardiologist who cares about overall health
IT WAS A GOOOD VISIT!
Dr. Sabik was great, very thorough, and concerned for my condition. ***
Dr Sabik has always been focused on me during every visit I have had with her. She is kind and never gives the impression that she is in a hurry.
Excellent experience every time I see Dr. Sabik.
Dr. Ellen Sabik is consistently very caring and proactive. She has called me when she saw information in my file, profile, or test results other doctor ordered, with recommendations regarding the issues related to my heart health.
I was very impressed with care and response by all personal.
Dr. Sabik intervened to help get my cardiac MR scheduled earlier than I was able to schedule on the phone. Very much appreciated her attention to this matter.

Very good experience as usual
Great care from staff and Dr Ellen Sabik
Dr never followed up with a phone call to another Dr about an abnormal test that may be related to meds I'm taking.
Dr. Ellen Sabik is very knowledgeable and attentive to my needs. She also called me at home after the lab results were available to discuss possible medication dosage change, and engaged me in the decision process based on the options available to achieve the health goals.
Excellent experience. Dr. Sabik provides patient centered care and includes me in decisions about my care and my medications.

Dr Sabik was concerned about my current health issues and changed a medication and asked me to check in with her office ***
Industry Relationships
University Hospitals is committed to transparency in our interactions with industry partners, such as pharmaceutical, biotech, or medical device companies. At UH, we disclose practitioner and their family members’ ownership and intellectual property rights that are or in the process of being commercialized. In addition, we disclose payments to employed practitioners of $5,000 or more from companies with which the practitioners interact as part of their professional activities. These practitioner-industry relationships assist in developing new drugs, devices and therapies and in providing medical education aimed at improving quality of care and enhancing clinical outcomes. At the same time, UH understands that these relationships may create a conflict of interest. In providing this information, UH desires to assist patients in talking with their practitioners about industry relationships and how those relationships may impact their medical care.
UH practitioners seek advance approval for certain new industry relationships. In addition, practitioners report their industry relationships and activities, as well as those of their immediate family members, to the UH Office of Outside Interests annually. We review these reports and implement management plans, as appropriate, to address conflicts of interest that may arise in connection with medical research, clinical care and purchasing decisions.
