Dr Roof was attentive and performed a procedure that made me be able to hear again, all I can say is thank you. I would recommend him as an ENT.
Dr Roof was excellent, quick, kind, and caring. I'm very glad he was available the day I needed him.
*** I called UH appointment line and they found Dr. Roof In Westlake, so I went to Dr. Roof In Westlake and that saved me 2 months of waiting and I saw Dr. Roof two months sooner. Dr. Roof was excellent and I did not mind driving to Westlake.

All staff and Dr very professionally and thorough. I like how Dr gave me care.
Dr Roof made me feel very comfortable. He sat and talked with me while face to face. It was a very good experience.
*** Dr. Shawn Roof is what every physician should be, technically and attitudinally. The same goes for his office staff. Hang on to him and physicians like him. Healthy care services are a commodity anymore. The difference between one provider and another Is the quality and sincerity of the physician/staff involved. Learn from the arrogance/hubris of those who led/managed the ***.
Dr Roof was knowledge, thorough, and informative. He gave me a confident solution that will help me address my issues, and I'm grateful for my visit with him.
I was very grateful that Dr. Roof saw me on such short notice!

Good experience, made room to squeeze me in...
Industry Relationships
University Hospitals is committed to transparency in our interactions with industry partners, such as pharmaceutical, biotech, or medical device companies. At UH, we disclose practitioner and their family members’ ownership and intellectual property rights that are or in the process of being commercialized. In addition, we disclose payments to employed practitioners of $5,000 or more from companies with which the practitioners interact as part of their professional activities. These practitioner-industry relationships assist in developing new drugs, devices and therapies and in providing medical education aimed at improving quality of care and enhancing clinical outcomes. At the same time, UH understands that these relationships may create a conflict of interest. In providing this information, UH desires to assist patients in talking with their practitioners about industry relationships and how those relationships may impact their medical care.
UH practitioners seek advance approval for certain new industry relationships. In addition, practitioners report their industry relationships and activities, as well as those of their immediate family members, to the UH Office of Outside Interests annually. We review these reports and implement management plans, as appropriate, to address conflicts of interest that may arise in connection with medical research, clinical care and purchasing decisions.

As of December 31, 2016, Shaun Roof did not disclose any Outside Relationships with Industry.
