Patient Experience Reviews
Dr. Roach is the best
Dr. Roach and her medical assistant were extremely helpful and friendly. I was nervous about my concerns for my son being dismissed. They were not, and I am so glad because we were able to get a solution for him quickly.
I'm very thankful for Dr Roach, the nurse and the person that checked us in and made another appointment at the end. I made the appointment right before they were closing, but they took me anyway and stayed late and gave us great care!! We are SO thankful for the entire team!
In this situation when my son needed help with a broken clavicle, the doctor and nurse showed compassion and directed us to what we needed to do next, giving us options for the care my son needed next. Thank You!
We having been patients of Dr Roach for 7 years and have always been satisfied with her level of care for all 3 of our children.
Dr. Roach is extremely knowledgeable and I am always confident in her decisions/treatment care plan.
We have always appreciated Dr. Roach for her very honest answers and opinions. She's always willing to share further resources and is helpful in guiding us with our questions.
I had a great experience with Dr. Roach and have become a new patient of hers after this visit. She was very attentive, took her time to understand and ask me questions. She is a great doctor.
Industry Relationships
University Hospitals is committed to transparency in our interactions with industry partners, such as pharmaceutical, biotech, or medical device companies. At UH, we disclose practitioner and their family members’ ownership and intellectual property rights that are or in the process of being commercialized. In addition, we disclose payments to employed practitioners of $5,000 or more from companies with which the practitioners interact as part of their professional activities. These practitioner-industry relationships assist in developing new drugs, devices and therapies and in providing medical education aimed at improving quality of care and enhancing clinical outcomes. At the same time, UH understands that these relationships may create a conflict of interest. In providing this information, UH desires to assist patients in talking with their practitioners about industry relationships and how those relationships may impact their medical care.
UH practitioners seek advance approval for certain new industry relationships. In addition, practitioners report their industry relationships and activities, as well as those of their immediate family members, to the UH Office of Outside Interests annually. We review these reports and implement management plans, as appropriate, to address conflicts of interest that may arise in connection with medical research, clinical care and purchasing decisions.
