Dr. Charita Ray gets a five star rating. She is always respectful of what I have to say and explores options with me, keeping my medical history in mind. I love that she meets me where I am and with my holistic preferences in mind. She understands my physical needs, and also pays attention to my mental/emotional state as well. She is compassionate and confident, and listens. She considers who I am in the context of what is happening to my body. In the past, friends have accompanied me on my office visit and liked her so much they switched to her care.
Dr. Ray is a very good provider. She has a very good staff. I would not go anywhere else.
Dr. Ray is a wonderful physician, and her medical assistant *** is also wonderful. I have recommended family members go see her because she is thorough. She's listens. and she cares. I just don't like the current model of care. I don't like having to go through a phone tree to leave a message when I want/need to talk to someone or have a question. I like my private physicians b/c their staff answers my call and provides the information needed immediately. I don't like modern medicines office policies at all. Too impersonal and disconnected for this old man.

As always Dr. Ray listens to what you have to say and explains treatment if needed. She also tells you to call if the issue gets worse or does not improve. Her demeanor is always pleasant.
Dr. Ray is amazing and makes sure that I follow up with all of my preventative tests and procedures, and that my follow-up appointments are regular.

Dr. Ray's staff was helpful and attentive. They took me right back and got me prepared for the appointment. Afterwards they scheduled my next appointment right away.Dr. Ray listened very well to everything I had to say. She was attentive and knowledgeable. She showed both compassion and caring for me as a patient. She took the time to speak to about my medical history and my health going forward.

This was my first appointment with Dr. Ray, so I didn't expect her to be familiar with my medical background. It's challenging to form an opinion about someone after just one meeting. I'm pleased with the initial experience, but I'll need a few more visits to form a solid opinion. However, I find the masks off-putting. They make me feel as if I have a contagious illness, and I can't see their faces or facial expressions.

At UH, we disclose practitioner and their family members’ ownership and intellectual property rights that are or in the process of being commercialized. In addition, we disclose payments to employed practitioners of $5,000 or more from companies with which the practitioners interact as part of their professional activities. These practitioner-industry relationships assist in developing new drugs, devices and therapies and in providing medical education aimed at improving quality of care and enhancing clinical outcomes.
