Patient Experience Reviews
As always Dr. Ray listens to what you have to say and explains treatment if needed. She also tells you to call if the issue gets worse or does not improve. Her demeanor is always pleasant.
Dr. Ray is amazing and makes sure that I follow up with all of my preventative tests and procedures, and that my follow-up appointments are regular.
My wife and I are extremely happy with Dr Ray She listens
Always treated with respect at this office. Also, I emailed the office to ask a question about my upcoming lab test and received an answer within the hour. Very impressive and appreciated.
So glad U.H has Dr Ray
Very attentive to my issues
Dr Ray is my favorite Dr. She listens and understands when we discuss things. I am very comfortable with her.
Always a good experience with Dr. Ray. She's a 5*plus.

Good experience
She was the best I have seen in a long time
She was phenomenal.
Very professional, listens to what I say. Shows emotions seems to be caring of my feelings
Very responsive to my concerns/questions. Great Doc.
Dr. Ray is very friendly and seems to have a very good understanding of my health care needs.
Dr Ray and her staff are excellent. Great at communicating. Highly recommend
Dr. Ray is the best there is.
Always have a good experience with care provider
Dr. Ray's staff was helpful and attentive. They took me right back and got me prepared for the appointment. Afterwards they scheduled my next appointment right away.Dr. Ray listened very well to everything I had to say. She was attentive and knowledgeable. She showed both compassion and caring for me as a patient. She took the time to speak to about my medical history and my health going forward.
Very good
Dr. Ray is always interested in what I have to say and is concerned with improving my health.
This was my first appointment with Dr. Ray, so I didn't expect her to be familiar with my medical background. It's challenging to form an opinion about someone after just one meeting. I'm pleased with the initial experience, but I'll need a few more visits to form a solid opinion. However, I find the masks off-putting. They make me feel as if I have a contagious illness, and I can't see their faces or facial expressions.
Very nice office and staff
Dr. Ray is the very best there is.
Good
Love Dr. Ray.
She's a great person all the way around doesn't make you feel like crap and self shame you for your efforts on making things better in your life I appreciate that we all up the same way in life she is appreciated
Dr. Ray listens and takes her time with you. Never feel rushed.
I was very happy with this visit
Dr Ray is the best! She is always happy, always attentive, always understands my concerns. Beth, her nurse, is also always happy and attentive. They have a very good atmosphere in their office.
Dr. Ray is amazingly thorough and personable. I'm glad I found her!
As my NP's and doctors (UH) keep leaving for some unknown reason I found Dr Charita Ray exceptional. Kind,,,Caring...and very GOOD
Dr. Ray was very attentive and professional. She discussed all of my concerns.
Always a pleasant experience
Dr. Ray has been an absolutely great PCP for me. She listens to me & thoroughly explains my treatment in an easily understandable way. Her nurse, Beth, is also amazing. She is caring, friendly, personable & a huge asset to Dr. Ray's practice. I trust both of them with my life, literally, considering my difficult medical issues.
Excellent experience
I felt that I was being listened to and the appropriate next steps were taken. However, some things could have been explained in deeper detail.
Dr. Ray is a very patient & compassionate provider. My only complaint is that it's hard to schedule a sick visit with her because she is always booked out so far.
Dr. Ray is the best. So glad I found her.
I love Dr. Ray as a primary care provider. ***
I totally enjoy when I need to see Dr. Ray, she's a great person as well as Dr.
Provide great care and professional medical advice
I've recommended Dr Rae to others.
Dr. Ray is the best possible.
I wouldn't want any other doctor
Dr. Ray is a wonderful doctor, she listens to me and asks questions and answers all the questions that I have. She makes me feel very comfortable and that she cares about me. She is warm and friendly and willing to listen to anything that I have to say to make my visit as pleasant as possible. She is a very caring doctor and writes notes in my chart that I can understand and answers questions before I know that I have one. She is on top of her job. I really liked my other doctor before he retired and was really afraid that I would never find another doctor that was as caring and understanding, but Dr. Ray fits all of my needs in a doctor. She is kind, caring, warm, understanding and concered about her patients.
I have already referred friends to the doctor
I have complete trust in Dr. Ray and feel that I am in good hands.
Love Dr Ray. She listens and is always optimistic.
First visit with new doctor. I liked her very much and feel like this is a great choice for me to continue with Dr. Ray.
Dr. Ray is a kind, communicative woman who I liked very much. As a matter of fact, I switched over from my former PCP to Dr. Ray.
Dr Ray is very thorough, knowledgeable and non-judgmental. I like that I can go to her with any concerns and questions. I can tell she cares about her patients
Dr. Ray is wonderful! This appointment was a first time visit, and I was blown away by her professionalism and care. It has been a long time since I have had a provider like her.
Outstanding Overall Healthcare team
Dr. Ray was very attentive. She listened carefully to me and made direct eye contact when speaking and listening very impressed and happy about this.
Dr. Ray is one of the good guys. A healer, not just a Doctor. She goes the extra mile, and will listen when most will not.
Dr Ray was very respectful of me, an pediatric hospitalist, treating me both as a colleague and a patient
A very good experience
Excellent as always.
I really like Dr.Ray

Getting the Most Out of Over-the-Counter Medicines
Pain relievers, cough suppressants, nasal sprays – these and other over-the-counter medicines are supposed to help us feel better when we have minor illnesses. But do these medicines really work?
Industry Relationships
University Hospitals is committed to transparency in our interactions with industry partners, such as pharmaceutical, biotech, or medical device companies. At UH, we disclose practitioner and their family members’ ownership and intellectual property rights that are or in the process of being commercialized. In addition, we disclose payments to employed practitioners of $5,000 or more from companies with which the practitioners interact as part of their professional activities. These practitioner-industry relationships assist in developing new drugs, devices and therapies and in providing medical education aimed at improving quality of care and enhancing clinical outcomes. At the same time, UH understands that these relationships may create a conflict of interest. In providing this information, UH desires to assist patients in talking with their practitioners about industry relationships and how those relationships may impact their medical care.
UH practitioners seek advance approval for certain new industry relationships. In addition, practitioners report their industry relationships and activities, as well as those of their immediate family members, to the UH Office of Outside Interests annually. We review these reports and implement management plans, as appropriate, to address conflicts of interest that may arise in connection with medical research, clinical care and purchasing decisions.
