I was so pleased with my visit with Dr. Rashid! From the time he entered the room and sat down I felt comfortable. It's the first visit I've had in a long time that I felt he actually reviewed chart and knew a great about my history as opposed to me giving that info to the doctor. I feel going forward, my care will be reassuring and positive bettering my overall health with Dr. Rashid. Thank you so much!

Dr Rashad was very thorough. I did wait several months to see him. One cancellation letter came to me the day after I showed up for the appointment that ended up being cancelled. This was upsetting. I did not see any nurse but the Clinical Partner who took me to my room and did vitals and EKG was very nice

Dr. Rashid is an excellent practitioner. My wait time was over 15 minutes, and when it was my "turn' to be seen I, too, had all the time I needed and never felt rushed. I had messaged him using UHMyChart with questions I had. At the appointment he touched on all of them and gave easy to understand answers. We also discussed options for treatment. I was extremely pleased.

Industry Relationships

University Hospitals is committed to transparency in our interactions with industry partners, such as pharmaceutical, biotech, or medical device companies. At UH, we disclose practitioner and their family members’ ownership and intellectual property rights that are or in the process of being commercialized. In addition, we disclose payments to employed practitioners of $5,000 or more from companies with which the practitioners interact as part of their professional activities. These practitioner-industry relationships assist in developing new drugs, devices and therapies and in providing medical education aimed at improving quality of care and enhancing clinical outcomes. In providing this information, UH desires to assist patients in talking with their practitioners about industry relationships and how those relationships may impact their medical care.

UH practitioners seek advance approval for certain new industry relationships. In addition, practitioners report their industry relationships and activities, as well as those of their immediate family members, to the UH Office of Outside Interests annually. We review these reports and implement management plans, as appropriate, to address conflicts of interest that may arise in connection with medical research, clinical care and purchasing decisions.
