About
Alexander S. Rascoe, MD, MBA, is a fellowship-trained orthopedic surgeon specializing in foot and ankle surgery. He provides patient centered care and personalizes treatment plans for individual needs. He provides diagnosis and treatment for all conditions of the foot and ankle.
Dr. Rascoe graduated Summa Cum Laude from Bucknell University. He completed a Master of Business Administration from the University of Pittsburgh and earned his medical degree from the Pennsylvania State University College of Medicine. He is a member of the academic honor societies of Phi Beta Kappa, Beta Gamma Sigma and Alpha Omega Alpha.
He completed his orthopedic surgery internship, research fellowship and residency training at University Hospitals Cleveland Medical Center in Cleveland, Ohio. He sought subspeciality training and completed the Duke Orthopaedic Foot and Ankle Surgery Fellowship in Durham, North Carolina.
Dr. Rascoe has authored numerous peer-reviewed scientific papers and received grant funding for his efforts. He has clinical interests in primary and revision total ankle arthroplasty, foot and ankle sports medicine and deformity, as well as orthopedic traumatology.
Dr. Rascoe is a member of the American Orthopaedic Foot and Ankle Society and the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons. Outside of work, Dr. Rascoe enjoys spending time with his family, exploring metro parks and fitness training.

At UH, we disclose practitioner and their family members’ ownership and intellectual property rights that are or in the process of being commercialized.
