Provider was really good. My son was getting his cholesterol check and he fainted. Dr was in right away and checked him. Dr. Postma is really good with my boys.

We continually recommend Dr Postma to anyone we know who is looking for a pediatrician! This was a very sensitive medical concern this visit. Everyone in the office was respectful and professional and careful with privacy.

I have to express my deepest gratitude for Dr. Postma during this past visit. The appointment was intended for my 4 month old daughter, however, my 3-year-old son had what appeared to be an ear infection and I voiced my concerns. Dr. Postma without hesitation checked him out there on the spot and helped to clear some of the ear wax built up in his ears. After the cleaning, my son and daughter were both crying in the office. I was consoling my son, and Dr. Postma was so gracious to pick up my baby to console her. He really proved to be a great provider, but more importantly, a caring person to a mom of two! So thankful to have a great pediatrician for my babies!

Industry Relationships

University Hospitals is committed to transparency in our interactions with industry partners, such as pharmaceutical, biotech, or medical device companies. At UH, we disclose practitioner and their family members’ ownership and intellectual property rights that are or in the process of being commercialized. In addition, we disclose payments to employed practitioners of $5,000 or more from companies with which the practitioners interact as part of their professional activities. These practitioner-industry relationships assist in developing new drugs, devices and therapies and in providing medical education aimed at improving quality of care and enhancing clinical outcomes. At the same time, UH understands that these relationships may create a conflict of interest. In providing this information, UH desires to assist patients in talking with their practitioners about industry relationships and how those relationships may impact their medical care.

UH practitioners seek advance approval for certain new industry relationships. In addition, practitioners report their industry relationships and activities, as well as those of their immediate family members, to the UH Office of Outside Interests annually. We review these reports and implement management plans, as appropriate, to address conflicts of interest that may arise in connection with medical research, clinical care and purchasing decisions.
