About
Michelle Porter, PA-C, is a board-certified physician assistant at University Hospitals Seidman Cancer Center. As an advanced practice provider in medical breast oncology, Michelle collaborates with oncologists and other specialists to develop and implement treatment plans for patients with breast cancer. She is also highly involved in the breast cancer survivorship program and strives to integrate the latest clinical innovations into each treatment plan to improve patient outcomes.
Michelle provides compassionate, patient-centered care and is dedicated to advancing oncology education through the development of in-service patient education programs.
Prior to joining the medical staff at University Hospitals, Michelle worked at Cleveland Clinic in Cleveland, Ohio. While at the Clinic, she was an integral member of the sepsis emergency response team. As part of this team, Michelle triaged best practice alerts and facilitated infectious disease workups to identify patients at risk for or suspected of having sepsis.
Michelle completed her undergraduate education at the University of Vermont in Burlington, Vermont where she earned a Bachelor of Science in Exercise and Movement Science. She went on to earn a Master of Medical Science, Physician Assistant at Salus University, College of Health Sciences in Elkins Park, Pennsylvania, graduating cum laude.
In addition to her practice at the UH Breen Women’s Health Pavilion in Cleveland, Michelle also sees patients at community locations, including the UH Seidman Cancer Centers in Avon and Mentor.

University Hospitals is committed to transparency in our interactions with industry partners, such as pharmaceutical, biotech, or medical device companies. At UH, we disclose practitioner and their family members’ ownership and intellectual property rights that are or in the process of being commercialized.
