About
Mrinalini Patil, MD, is a board-certified vascular surgeon and endovascular specialist at University Hospitals Harrington Heart & Vascular Institute. She is skilled in performing the full range of open and minimally invasive surgical procedures for patients with vascular conditions including aortic disease, carotid artery disease, venous disease and peripheral artery disease.
Dr. Patil earned her medical degree from the University of Oklahoma College of Medicine in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. She participated in a global surgery program at Mzuzu Central Hospital in Malawi, Africa, before pursuing a general surgery residency at the University of Kansas Medical Center in Kansas City, Kansas, where she was recognized as Outstanding Resident of the Year. She then completed a vascular surgery fellowship at the University of Nebraska Medical Center in Omaha, Nebraska.
A prolific author, Dr. Patil has co-authored numerous publications on vascular related treatment techniques such as thoracic endovascular aortic repair (TEVAR) for blunt thoracic aortic injury and carotid endarterectomy for carotid artery disease.
Dr. Patil is an active member of the Midwestern Vascular Surgical Society and the Society for Vascular Surgery.
