About
Theodore Pacheco, MD, is a general cardiologist at University Hospitals Harrington Heart & Vascular Institute.
Dr. Pacheco earned his medical degree with honors from Creighton University School of Medicine in Omaha, Nebraska. His postdoctoral training included an internal medicine residency at Creighton University Medical Center followed by a cardiovascular disease fellowship at the Cleveland Clinic. He then joined North Ohio Heart, Inc., and has been practicing cardiovascular medicine for nearly 30 years.
Dr. Pacheco is board certified in cardiovascular disease with additional certification in nuclear cardiology. He has experience in the diagnosis and treatment of both common and complex heart conditions, including coronary artery disease, congestive heart failure, cardiomyopathy, heart valve disease and heart rhythm disorders such as atrial fibrillation. In addition to his clinical practice, Dr. Pacheco has contributed to the medical field as co-author of publications in respected journals like Circulation, on topics related to the care of patients with atrial flutter, atrial fibrillation and acute ischemic syndromes.
Dr. Pacheco is a member of national professional organizations including the American Society of Echocardiography and American Heart Association. He is recognized as a fellow of the American College of Cardiology, having served as a member of the board of directors. Dr. Pacheco is currently on the board of directors for the Lorain County Medical Society.
