Patient Experience Reviews
Dr. Ohsie was wonderfully sweet, kind and respectful! I will refer her to everyone I know! All the ladies were sweet and kind that's one of the things I love about UH!!
None very professional
Doctor continues to look out for possible future problems caused by my cancer treatments.
Dr. OHSIE *** are the best. I have great confidence in them and their expertise. ***
Everyone was very nice and very informative on the procedure that I'm going to have done. I am very comfortable with the staff.
Excellent doctor
Excellent experience, couldn't have been better.
Dr. Ohsie is a great doctor.
Dr. Ohsie is excellent. I had a laser treatment for a secondary cataract. She clearly explained the procedure. And during it, she kept me up-to-date on what she was doing and how much longer it would take. Then she said now I'm just going to clean up the edges. I love a perfectionist. I have recommended her to a dear friend who had an appointment recently. She loves Dr. Ohsie also.
Pure pros.
Dr. O is outstanding and very kind
My second experience with Dr Ohsie. Very good, informed, informative, great personality, understanding. I would highly recommend.
The doctor was really wonderful and resolved my problem. I am so greatful
Excellent visit, office is well run and organized, Doctor excellent and her Assistant very helpful and pleasant to deal with.
Dr OhsieBajor discussed my options for the future cataract surgery. Whether to close better distance or better near vision. It was a little confusing. I feel if there was a handout with various options cataract patients may be given that Dr can check off the options that pertains to each individual patient, and the options to decide would be helpful. Dr Ohsie was very kind and patient restating the options for me. While there, I felt I had a grasp on the implications of each. However after going home and trying to describe my options to family member, I feel I was mixing things up. I plan to write down how I remember the options and send to Dr Ohsie for verification.
Dr. Ohsie and Judy are caring, kind, experts who put you at ease and answer all questions and are very thorough. They are wonderful, and I have recommended them to many people, even to other doctors. I appreciated my very thorough exam. The 2 office girls were nice and he.pful. One put the drops in my eyes. She was very friendly. UH is lucky to have Dr. Ossie and Judy.

I continue to be impressed by the care provided by Dr Oshie and her associates The exam is very in-depth with a system of checks and balance. Her explanations regarding the various issues that currently affect my eyes are comprehensive but understandable. The plan in place is to continue to monitor the issues which is reassuring.
Every person I dealt with on this visit was exceptionally nice and personable. They did not make me feel that my questions were silly.

Industry Relationships
University Hospitals is committed to transparency in our interactions with industry partners, such as pharmaceutical, biotech, or medical device companies. At UH, we disclose practitioner and their family members’ ownership and intellectual property rights that are or in the process of being commercialized. In addition, we disclose payments to employed practitioners of $5,000 or more from companies with which the practitioners interact as part of their professional activities. These practitioner-industry relationships assist in developing new drugs, devices and therapies and in providing medical education aimed at improving quality of care and enhancing clinical outcomes. At the same time, UH understands that these relationships may create a conflict of interest. In providing this information, UH desires to assist patients in talking with their practitioners about industry relationships and how those relationships may impact their medical care.
UH practitioners seek advance approval for certain new industry relationships. In addition, practitioners report their industry relationships and activities, as well as those of their immediate family members, to the UH Office of Outside Interests annually. We review these reports and implement management plans, as appropriate, to address conflicts of interest that may arise in connection with medical research, clinical care and purchasing decisions.
