About
Raju Modi, MD, FACC, is an expert cardiologist and Director of System Ambulatory Cardiovascular Services at University Hospitals Harrington Heart & Vascular Institute. He is also a clinical assistant professor at Case Western Reserve University School of Medicine.
Dr. Modi earned his medical degree from the Northeast Ohio Medical University (NEOMED). His postdoctoral training included an internal medicine residency and cardiovascular disease fellowship at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center (UPMC). He has been in practice for more than 20 years.
Dr. Modi is board certified in cardiovascular disease with additional certification in cardiac imaging modalities such as computed tomography (CT), echocardiography and nuclear cardiology. He has extensive expertise in preventive cardiology and invasive cardiology, diagnosing and treating the full span of heart conditions including congenital heart disease, coronary artery disease, heart rhythm disorders, heart failure and heart valve disease.
Dr. Modi is a member of national professional organizations including the American Heart Association. He has also been named a fellow of the American College of Cardiology (ACC).

This was my first visit with Dr. Moti. I thought he was very thorough and well prepared for my visit. He had reviewed my medical records prior to my visit and was knowledgeable about my past medical history. I liked him very much. I just moved to Ohio, reason why doctor didn't have medical records yet, and was concerned about my heart health. Dr. Modi reassured me I was doing very well since my *** done in ***. I was nervous about it, he calmed me down. He ordered some routine tests to start some basic information to have on file until my medical records arrive, including lab work. He also made sure any current medications I take were set up with new refills. I look forward to him being my regular cardiologist now here in Ohio.

Overall good experience. Doctor referred and scheduled me for a procedure. The procedure, and a successful outcome of the procedure was explained simply, but I would have appreciated and expected the possible negative outcomes to also be explained. If I am expected to be involved with my health care, I would like to understand both the positive and negative outcomes of the procedure.
