Patient Experience Reviews
Very caring, excellent care
Very attentive
Doctor Mendpara is an excellent doctor: very knowledgeable, enthusiastic and concerned. I highly recommend him to anyone involved with a melanoma. His nurse, Chris, is an excellent nurse and the two of them are a very effective team. I am receiving immunotherapy from this office and they are on top of my care. Good folks
Wonderful staff
Great doctor!
Dr. Mendpara is absolutely the BEST oncologist. He always takes the time to listen to my concerns and explain things in a way that I can understand. I know, without a doubt, that he truly cares about my well being.
Good experience first time with him.
Dr. Mendpara is a very caring doctor. From the first time I met him, I felt that he had my best health interests in mind. He helped me through a ten- year journey to wellness. He is very caring and thorough. I was always comfortable with his care. I was at a loss for words when he told me that I was cured. I didn't know what to tell him other than thank you. I couldn't have made it without him.
Good
I couldn't ask for a more caring doctor!!
Very professional office.. Doctor, nurses, and staff
Great
:Dr Menpara & his staff have always shown their utmost respect & genuine concern for me. This visit was to go over the results of a CT Scan I had early ***. The doctor felt a PET Scan would be beneficial in helping determine the status of nodes discovered from the CT Scan. ***, his assistant provided me with information regarding PET Scans to take home & think about it & call the following week with my decision. My husband, who was also present at my appt. Read the info & discussed the situation & decided it was best for me to have the PET Scan. *** called me yesterday with the results and the good news that the nodes appeared benign. What a relief!
Dr Mendpara is a good listener, teacher, and person. I am happy I was able to schedule with him when I got my ***diagnosis ***.
I have seen this provider every six weeks for the past 11 years and am comfortable with him and his team members. I do not have any inhibitions discussing or asking questions about my continued care.
Industry Relationships
University Hospitals is committed to transparency in our interactions with industry partners, such as pharmaceutical, biotech, or medical device companies. At UH, we disclose practitioner and their family members’ ownership and intellectual property rights that are or in the process of being commercialized. In addition, we disclose payments to employed practitioners of $5,000 or more from companies with which the practitioners interact as part of their professional activities. These practitioner-industry relationships assist in developing new drugs, devices and therapies and in providing medical education aimed at improving quality of care and enhancing clinical outcomes. At the same time, UH understands that these relationships may create a conflict of interest. In providing this information, UH desires to assist patients in talking with their practitioners about industry relationships and how those relationships may impact their medical care.
UH practitioners seek advance approval for certain new industry relationships. In addition, practitioners report their industry relationships and activities, as well as those of their immediate family members, to the UH Office of Outside Interests annually. We review these reports and implement management plans, as appropriate, to address conflicts of interest that may arise in connection with medical research, clinical care and purchasing decisions.
