Patient Experience Reviews
Good experience.
Dr. Tia Melton is always very nice, professional, and polite to me as I am her patient for many years.
Dr. Melton is always kind and patient. She listens to and answers all questionsb many times providing descriptive pamphlets. She ask how I am feeling and if I have any pain. She is very thoughtful and explains everything she's doing as well as what I will feel and when she is going to touch me and where she will touch me. This does help ease my anxiety about procedures.
From the time I walked into the facility everyone and I mean everyone was so so nice and polite. No negative comments. Thank you to everyone.
This office takes great care of me! Thank you ***, Dr. Melton, and staff!

This was the first time I hav seen Dr. Melton and I thought she was very good.
Another very good appointment with Dr. Melton. She also provided helpful reading information at the end of the appointment.
My care by the provider was great. She listened to my concerns and offered advice and additional testing for my concerns. ***
Visit went very well. Dr Melton is very caring and listens to her patients. My wait was long but being an OB/GYN there sometimes are delays due to concerns for other patients.
I love Dr. Melton, she was my OBGYN for my last pregnancy and she ***, ***, and *** take care of me like they would a family member. I will for sure follow them to the *** office!
Best GYN doctor I've had since giving birth to my kids over 18 years ago. Very highly recommended

I love this provider, she is very good and professional at what she does.
My experience with the doctor was great!
Amazing! I love Dr. Melton, ***, ***, and ***! I am so comfortable in their hands and I know they will always look out for me! So grateful for the team at this office!
Dr Melton didn't sit bc the room was very small, with nowhere to sit until she did the Pap test. While doing the test, she told me exactly what was happening and how I would feel. It made me very comfortable during the exam.
I Was Treated With Respect And Kindness
Industry Relationships
University Hospitals is committed to transparency in our interactions with industry partners, such as pharmaceutical, biotech, or medical device companies. At UH, we disclose practitioner and their family members’ ownership and intellectual property rights that are or in the process of being commercialized. In addition, we disclose payments to employed practitioners of $5,000 or more from companies with which the practitioners interact as part of their professional activities. These practitioner-industry relationships assist in developing new drugs, devices and therapies and in providing medical education aimed at improving quality of care and enhancing clinical outcomes. At the same time, UH understands that these relationships may create a conflict of interest. In providing this information, UH desires to assist patients in talking with their practitioners about industry relationships and how those relationships may impact their medical care.
UH practitioners seek advance approval for certain new industry relationships. In addition, practitioners report their industry relationships and activities, as well as those of their immediate family members, to the UH Office of Outside Interests annually. We review these reports and implement management plans, as appropriate, to address conflicts of interest that may arise in connection with medical research, clinical care and purchasing decisions.

As of December 31, 2016, Tia Melton did not disclose any Outside Relationships with Industry.
