Patient Experience Reviews
I had very good care, quick, compassionate, knowledgeable, and complete
Brea was wonderful to work with. She took the time to answer all of our questions and concerns and made sure we understood everything. She helped reassure us that we were doing a good job and really helped boost our confidence.
Good
They all did very well and I was pleased with my visit. She took the time to answer all of my questions.

Brea was great and very understanding. She is easy to speak with and very comforting
Always explains everything. Talks about my issues and concerns. Would recommend her to everyone
Brea was amazing! Very kind and sensitive. I felt heard and she showed extreme empathy when I explained my concerns. I feel very fortunate to have her as a doctor.
This was my first time meeting this MD, but I definitely liked her. I hadn't done this type of appointment because I was nervous about it, but Brea made me feel very comfortable.
This group of medical professionals, from the receptionist in the ER to the volunteer who checked on us, was top-notch, friendly, compassionate, and kept us informed from start to finish. We have a closer facility that University Hospitals do not own, but we will make the extra drive for this type of compassionate care: job well done, team.
Brea is great. She was the first provider to look at some of the other medical issues I'd had recently and suggest some preventative measures and follow up care. She spent a half an hour going through my recent medical history with me and taking about my concerns. She's compassionate, holistic, and honest. I would recommend her to anyone.
Brea is amazing. I felt heard and respected the entire visit. Thanks for a great experience!

Industry Relationships
University Hospitals is committed to transparency in our interactions with industry partners, such as pharmaceutical, biotech, or medical device companies. At UH, we disclose practitioner and their family members’ ownership and intellectual property rights that are or in the process of being commercialized. In addition, we disclose payments to employed practitioners of $5,000 or more from companies with which the practitioners interact as part of their professional activities. These practitioner-industry relationships assist in developing new drugs, devices and therapies and in providing medical education aimed at improving quality of care and enhancing clinical outcomes. At the same time, UH understands that these relationships may create a conflict of interest. In providing this information, UH desires to assist patients in talking with their practitioners about industry relationships and how those relationships may impact their medical care.
UH practitioners seek advance approval for certain new industry relationships. In addition, practitioners report their industry relationships and activities, as well as those of their immediate family members, to the UH Office of Outside Interests annually. We review these reports and implement management plans, as appropriate, to address conflicts of interest that may arise in connection with medical research, clinical care and purchasing decisions.
