About
Samuel C. Kerns, MD, is a board-certified ENT specialist. He completed his undergraduate degree at Case Western Reserve University in 1999, graduating Summa Cum Laude. Dr. Kerns obtained his medical degree from Case Western Reserve School of Medicine in 2003. He then joined Loyola University Medical Center, where he completed an internship in General Surgery (2003 – 2004) and a residency in Otolaryngology (2004 – 2008).
Dr. Kerns’ medical interests include nasal and sinus disease, hearing loss, pediatric patients, and neck masses. In his personal time, Dr. Kerns enjoys spending time with his family, listening to music and following Cleveland’s sports teams.

Dr Stearns was very thorough and polite and is really concerned about the next step and that is going for MRI. Dr. Kerns is very calm, reassuring, thorough, and pleasant. He explains everything he is doing, and talks the patient through the exam. He did a scope to view my vocal cords, and It was much easier and less uncomfortable than I expected! He really Is concerned about his patients, and even though he is very busy in the office he takes his time with his patients.
