Patient Experience Reviews
My 1st time seeing this Dr. We discussed my Diagnosis. No physical exam. He informed me of test he would be ordering. Everyone was very pleasant.
All good
Great provider
The Dr was very professional and answered all my questions
My provider (Dr.S Alan Hoffer) was friendly, cordial, and receptive during my visit. He and his team made sure that I was comfortable all the way through the appointment. He got me immediately into X-Ray and walked me through what I would need to do for other appointments/tests. While my visit was admittedly rushed and 'quick-worded', It was a very busy day when I came, so I'm not holding anything against the medical staff.
Excellent doctor , mentions all the possibilities of what could be going on, listens to the patient without rushing the patient. Excellent bedside manner. Highly recommended.
Dr Hoffer and his medical team *** is one of the very best providers I have ever seen. Always professional and knowledgeable! All questions answered and explained and excellent skills with my surgery and follow up care. I will always highly recommend this provider and his exceptional medical staff.
I really liked Dr Hoffer. He made me feel very relaxed and listened to. He is very easy to talk to.
Excellant care,i was very comfortable and happy with Dr.Hoffer and his team
Very professional gave me a chance to tell my problems and felt comfortable talking one on one
Everything worked out
He was very good, thought the worst but he said no longer needed surgery
Industry Relationships
University Hospitals is committed to transparency in our interactions with industry partners, such as pharmaceutical, biotech, or medical device companies. At UH, we disclose practitioner and their family members’ ownership and intellectual property rights that are or in the process of being commercialized. In addition, we disclose payments to employed practitioners of $5,000 or more from companies with which the practitioners interact as part of their professional activities. These practitioner-industry relationships assist in developing new drugs, devices and therapies and in providing medical education aimed at improving quality of care and enhancing clinical outcomes. At the same time, UH understands that these relationships may create a conflict of interest. In providing this information, UH desires to assist patients in talking with their practitioners about industry relationships and how those relationships may impact their medical care.
UH practitioners seek advance approval for certain new industry relationships. In addition, practitioners report their industry relationships and activities, as well as those of their immediate family members, to the UH Office of Outside Interests annually. We review these reports and implement management plans, as appropriate, to address conflicts of interest that may arise in connection with medical research, clinical care and purchasing decisions.
