Dr. Henderson was very kind and efficient and certainly made me feel at ease. I could have used a little more explanation of my problem (a drawing or diagram might have helped), but overall this was a good experience. ***

This was a first visit with Dr. He was wonderful. I have been a CCF patient since 1999 and have become very disappointed in the care I received there. I have been switching to UH. So far the care has been wonderful. The complete atmosphere is different in a very good way. When calling to set up appointment the customer service is superb. They have taken time to help me find the Dr that suits my specific needs and has led to perfect choices. I do not like change. The staff at UH has made and Is making the transaction so much easier. They seem to be happier in their jobs than other hospital staff are.

*** This doc is definitely at the top of the list. I worry he will be recruited by a bigger hospital system or go out of town. UH needs to appreciate him and do everything it can to keep him on staff.

Dr. Henderson and his staff were very personal and made me feel very comfortable. The staff were very courteous and welcoming as this was my first visit with the doctor. Dr. Henderson appears very knowledgeable of my medical history as we discussed concerns, issues etc., as well as treatment going forth. I really liked the fact that Dr. Henderson listened to my thoughts and opinion about my health, and appreciated my advocating for my treatment on current condition for which I was referred to him. A very good appointment and I look forward to working with him in the future.

Dr. Henderson is a wonderful doctor! He is also a very busy doctor and he appeared to be running behind the day I was there for my appointment. I had an issue that I had a senior van ride set up with a certain time for my departure and I got up to inquire how far long Dr. Henderson was because if it got to be too late I would have to leave. I have to say the ladies at the front desk managed to get me called back and I even left a sample and get ready for the doctor so that when he came in I would be ready to see him. I got done in time so I didn't have any issues which making my van ride on time. It was a relief!

Dr. Henderson was incredibly caring and listened to the things I was saying. He did not try to rush the appointment or rush me out of the office as quickly as possible as some providers do. He makes you feel very calm and eases your concerns of seeing a urologist. I'd recommend him to anyone.

Industry Relationships

University Hospitals is committed to transparency in our interactions with industry partners, such as pharmaceutical, biotech, or medical device companies. At UH, we disclose practitioner and their family members’ ownership and intellectual property rights that are or in the process of being commercialized. In addition, we disclose payments to employed practitioners of $5,000 or more from companies with which the practitioners interact as part of their professional activities. These practitioner-industry relationships assist in developing new drugs, devices and therapies and in providing medical education aimed at improving quality of care and enhancing clinical outcomes. At the same time, UH understands that these relationships may create a conflict of interest. In providing this information, UH desires to assist patients in talking with their practitioners about industry relationships and how those relationships may impact their medical care.

UH practitioners seek advance approval for certain new industry relationships. In addition, practitioners report their industry relationships and activities, as well as those of their immediate family members, to the UH Office of Outside Interests annually. We review these reports and implement management plans, as appropriate, to address conflicts of interest that may arise in connection with medical research, clinical care and purchasing decisions.
