About

Kelsey Gray, MD, is a cardiac surgeon with University Hospitals Harrington Heart & Vascular Institute.

Dr. Gray earned her medical degree from the University of Washington School of Medicine. She then completed a general surgery residency at Harbor-UCLA Medical Center followed by a fellowship in cardiothoracic surgery at University Hospitals Cleveland Medical Center. She is certified by the American Board of Surgery and the American Board of Thoracic Surgery, with additional certification in robotic surgery. Her areas of technical expertise include complex coronary artery revascularization, minimally invasive cardiac surgery, robotic cardiac surgery, heart and lung transplantation, as well as mechanical circulatory support devices.

Dr. Gray has authored multiple peer-reviewed publications and presented at national cardiovascular professional conferences on various topics related to techniques and advancements in cardiac surgery. She has received several awards and honors for her achievements, including being named one of Cleveland’s Top Doctors by Cleveland Magazine.

Dr. Gray is also a sports enthusiast who enjoys golfing, sailing and skiing.

University Hospitals is committed to transparency in our interactions with industry partners, such as pharmaceutical, biotech, or medical device companies. At UH, we disclose practitioner and their family members’ ownership and intellectual property rights that are or in the process of being commercialized.
