Patient Experience Reviews
Excellent care. Very nice and made me feel comfortable.
Dr Shannon Gilham is the BEST! Love her!
The only thing I can say, I wish I would have met her when I was having children 30 years ago, and having her to deal with all my issues up until *** she is amazing, she is someone you will want in your staff for a very long time. She should teach other Ob/Gyn on how to treat patients
Due to my previous gynecologist retiring, I chose Dr. Gilham. Loved her enthusiasm and her brilliant knowledge of medical issues I have had. She is awesome!!
Dr Gilham is the best doctor I've ever had I love her so much I followed her from ***. She's been my OB for 10 years. She's first OB I had that made me feel comfortable actually blocking my concerns to her. She cares about her patients takes as much time as necessary to make sure each patient gets the care they need. On the occasions I've had to wait for service I didn't care because I knew she would be just as attentive to me as she was to the previous patient.
I am so pleased to be in her care. She took my concerns about my health serious, and did not brush them off as if it was not that serious. I have been suffering for 4 years, and am greatful she took all the time I needed and was extremely thorough.
Dr Gilham is one of the most compassionate, knowledgeable and practical womens health drs I have ever met.
The entire experience was exceptional from checking throughout the visit. Dr. Gilham was kind and compassionate and took the time to explain everything.
Dr. Gilham is my favorite care provider I have ever had in my life. She seems to really care for her patients, spends time listening to me, recommends courses to improve my overall health. She's helped me understand procedures that I'd had previously (ex, colposcopy) that other providers did not explain. I will keep coming back to UH as long as she is here.
Dr gilham is amazing! I've followed her since ***
I love Dr Gilham and cannot say enough good things about her. She is by far the best Dr I have ever had!!!! She's kind, compassionate, and really listens to me.
She's a great provider
Dr Gilham is the best GYN doctor I have ever had, she is caring, compassionate, and extremely knowledgeable.
Dr. Gilham is a very caring doctor explaining everything along the way. Never rushes.
Industry Relationships
University Hospitals is committed to transparency in our interactions with industry partners, such as pharmaceutical, biotech, or medical device companies. At UH, we disclose practitioner and their family members’ ownership and intellectual property rights that are or in the process of being commercialized. In addition, we disclose payments to employed practitioners of $5,000 or more from companies with which the practitioners interact as part of their professional activities. These practitioner-industry relationships assist in developing new drugs, devices and therapies and in providing medical education aimed at improving quality of care and enhancing clinical outcomes. At the same time, UH understands that these relationships may create a conflict of interest. In providing this information, UH desires to assist patients in talking with their practitioners about industry relationships and how those relationships may impact their medical care.
UH practitioners seek advance approval for certain new industry relationships. In addition, practitioners report their industry relationships and activities, as well as those of their immediate family members, to the UH Office of Outside Interests annually. We review these reports and implement management plans, as appropriate, to address conflicts of interest that may arise in connection with medical research, clinical care and purchasing decisions.
