About
Dr. Geiger is a neuromuscular physician and full-time faculty member of Case Western Reserve University School of Medicine. He completed his undergraduate training at Pepperdine University in Malibu, California, with a Bachelor of Science degree in sports medicine and his medical degree from A.T. Still University- Kirksville College of Osteopathic Medicine in Kirksville, Missouri. He came to Cleveland in 2012 to join the Neurology Residency at Case Western Reserve University, serving as Chief Resident during his final year. He continued to pursue fellowship training in neuromuscular medicine and ultimately joined the faculty in 2017.
Dr. Geiger has a particular interest in graduate medical education and serves as the Associate Program Director for the residency program. He is currently developing a curriculum to help physicians in training cultivate emotional intelligence. Other interests include the use of neuromuscular sonography, a relatively new field of study, and valuable adjunct to traditional electrodiagnostic testing. When he is not in the hospital, he enjoys watching his two sons play every sport imaginable or exploring the Metro Parks with his Great Dane, Layla.

University Hospitals is committed to transparency in our interactions with industry partners, such as pharmaceutical, biotech, or medical device companies. At UH, we disclose practitioner and their family members’ ownership and intellectual property rights that are or in the process of being commercialized. UH practitioners seek advance approval for certain new industry relationships. In addition, practitioners report their industry relationships and activities, as well as those of their immediate family members, to the UH Office of Outside Interests annually. We review these reports and implement management plans, as appropriate, to address conflicts of interest that may arise in connection with medical research, clinical care and purchasing decisions.
