Patient Experience Reviews
This was clearly one of the better interactions I have had with the medical profession in some time. Wendy was courteous, caring, professional, and knowledgeable. I was treated with respect and dignity. She followed up promptly with test results and a clear treatment path. I highly recommend her!
Pre-surgery appointment. Seen within 5 minutes of arrival and out in 15 minutes with all concerns addressed.
Always an excellent experience with Wendy and staff.
I feel extremely comfortable with Wendy Geaney!
Wendy is a great provider. I have complete faith in her ability and professionalism.
Great care given
No complaints. Wendy is fabulous and more importantly I trust her. Which goes a long way for confidence in your health care providers. This practice has been great to me and my family for over thirty five years. When nurse practitioners came in to play, Wendy became my health care provider. I have been well cared for and very happy.
Wendy is great. Carefully listens and makes me very comfortable.
Always a caring provider, never rushing me.
Wendy is terrific -- a great asset
Before coming in I had minor anxiety about the visit feeling rushed or my forgetting to ask a question. Wendy was very patient asked a lot of questions and waited for me to think through everything and take notes she offered advice about some things I could do to help relieve my condition in addition to helpful prescription. The rest of the staff was warm and welcoming although I had more limited interaction. Great experience. Thank you!
This provider was concerned with an ear infection and a hip that was in sever pain. She treated the ear infection with medication and told me to apply ice for the next few days and then go to a warm press to complete the healing of the hip. She said if my hip did not respond to this treatment to call back for another appointment. The hip is doing better and I don't the another appointment will be necessary.
Always exeptional.
As always, I was extremely grateful for Wendy's time, care, and compassion.
Nurse Practitioner Wendy was excellent! Very thorough and helpful
Wendy is very professional, knowledgeable, and empathetic. She's a pleasure.
Excellent medical practice. ***
Experience is always good
Great
My PCP is Dr. Shelby Cash, but his appointment schedule is very backed up and January was the first time I could get in to see him. I think having to wait more than 30 days to see him about an illness is a problem. You need to hire additional staff. Having said that, I had forgotten how good Wendy Gainey is. Very thorough, pleasant, and professional. I won't hesitate to see her in the future.
Great care provider!
Wendy is a excellent listener!
Wendy Geaney is our favorite provider, always takes time to listen carefully to our questions and concerns, explains everything clearly. We travel for more than an hour to see her because she is the provider we trust, the provider who knows us best!

Excellent care as always!
In time and concerned
Wendy does a great job listening to my issue and recommending an appropriate course of action. A follow-up visit is being planned
All good. Pleasant experience wiyj helpful staff.
I was extremely pleased with this visit. The provider Wendy listened and definitely seemed to care and want to help get to the bottom of what is going on. She even explained that some bloodwork may take longer to get back and that she would be in touch once everything was back.
Took time to explain what can be done and possible solutions to my health issues
Wendy and her team are excellent!
Excellent care, delivered with competence and concern for me as an individual.
Wendy is very efficient and thorough and easy to talk to. She is an excellent listener and takes my comments into consideration. I feel like we are a team in my health care and I never feel hurried as we are conversing. I'm grateful to have her as my primary health care provider.
Wendy showed compassion and understanding with the upmost professionalism.
Industry Relationships
University Hospitals is committed to transparency in our interactions with industry partners, such as pharmaceutical, biotech, or medical device companies. At UH, we disclose practitioner and their family members’ ownership and intellectual property rights that are or in the process of being commercialized. In addition, we disclose payments to employed practitioners of $5,000 or more from companies with which the practitioners interact as part of their professional activities. These practitioner-industry relationships assist in developing new drugs, devices and therapies and in providing medical education aimed at improving quality of care and enhancing clinical outcomes. At the same time, UH understands that these relationships may create a conflict of interest. In providing this information, UH desires to assist patients in talking with their practitioners about industry relationships and how those relationships may impact their medical care.
UH practitioners seek advance approval for certain new industry relationships. In addition, practitioners report their industry relationships and activities, as well as those of their immediate family members, to the UH Office of Outside Interests annually. We review these reports and implement management plans, as appropriate, to address conflicts of interest that may arise in connection with medical research, clinical care and purchasing decisions.
