Patient Experience Reviews
Always listens and genuinely cares about my health. Explains everything in terms I understand.
Dr Friedlander and his staff were respectful, thorough, and clear on the issues and options for my care.
Dr. Friedlander Is a very kind and intelligent doctor. My allergy shots are working well.
I just want to let you know that I had a great experience for this appointment. ***
The doctor was very easy to talk to. They could not have addressed my concerns any better. I would definitely recommend this provider to anyone.
Very professional and caring team
Very knowledgable and comfortable to talk with
All was good w/dr, he apologized for wait time. ***
First time seeing Dr F, and he was awesome.
We waited almost an hour in the exam room without any check-ins from staff. I had told my child if we waited 8 more minutes, we were leaving. Nurses that take you to the exam room have little to no personality, speak briefly and fast, show no concern or care why you're there. Just do not seam approachable, nor do they seem to care to listen. However, the doctor is absolutely wonderful and it's only because of HIM that I will continue to bring my son there. The doctor has patience, shows much understanding, he's communicative and shows much interest in what we have to say and ask. He also explains things to my son, who is 9, and is able to explain them for him to even understand.
All staff were pleasant thorough and efficient
Dr. Friedlander is kind, caring, and compassionate. He always listens and gives his full attention. He has been very helpful since I began seeing him.
Excellent experience!
Great service!!
Good visit this time, Dr. Friedlander has always been good. I have felt the office is not always "on top" of things. I believe when I left to schedule a future appt. That the intended schedule was not realized.
Everyone was very nice and helpful
Dr Sam Friedlander is a great doctor
My appt was the first appt after lunch. It took him 52 minutes before I saw him. My time is as valuable as his. I will not be going back
Was a very basic appointment to test for environmental allergies.
Dr. Friedlander has always been very warm and welcoming. He has great bedside manner and is wonderful with my young daughter. He explains things well and takes his time. We have really enjoyed our experience with him.
The doctor was amazing, gentle, attentive, and showed genuine care for me as a patient.
I would recommend Dr. Friedlander to others.

Industry Relationships
University Hospitals is committed to transparency in our interactions with industry partners, such as pharmaceutical, biotech, or medical device companies. At UH, we disclose practitioner and their family members’ ownership and intellectual property rights that are or in the process of being commercialized. In addition, we disclose payments to employed practitioners of $5,000 or more from companies with which the practitioners interact as part of their professional activities. These practitioner-industry relationships assist in developing new drugs, devices and therapies and in providing medical education aimed at improving quality of care and enhancing clinical outcomes. At the same time, UH understands that these relationships may create a conflict of interest. In providing this information, UH desires to assist patients in talking with their practitioners about industry relationships and how those relationships may impact their medical care.
UH practitioners seek advance approval for certain new industry relationships. In addition, practitioners report their industry relationships and activities, as well as those of their immediate family members, to the UH Office of Outside Interests annually. We review these reports and implement management plans, as appropriate, to address conflicts of interest that may arise in connection with medical research, clinical care and purchasing decisions.
