About
Jacqueline Donovan, DPM is a board-certified podiatrist by the American Board of Foot and Ankle Surgeons in both forefoot and reconstructive rearfoot and ankle surgery. Dr. Donovan is a trauma fellowship trained professional, with private practice experience as well as extensive training in wound care and diabetic reconstruction. She is also an Assistant Professor of Podiatric Medicine and Surgery in the Division of Foot & Ankle Surgery and Biomechanics at Kent State University College of Podiatric Medicine.
During her three-year surgical residency at Grant Medical Center in Columbus, Ohio, she trained alongside over thirty attending physicians in both the inpatient and outpatient settings learning TAR and charcot reconstruction.
She furthered her knowledge base and expertise to specialize in foot and ankle trauma by pursuing a fellowship with the orthopedic trauma specialists at the Grant Medical Center under the leadership of Dr. Atilla Poka. The MD/DO fellowship provided exposure to complex fractures, nonunion and malunion reconstructive cases, which focused on foot and ankle trauma.
Dr. Donovan delivers a unique perspective on trauma surgery as well as charcot reconstruction in the private practice setting. EFAC focuses on multi-faceted approach to foot and ankle pain including conservative and surgical treatments. Surgical specialties range from MIS bunion surgery, lapiplasty, flatfoot reconstruction, limb salvage techniques including reconstruction with external fixation, muscle rotational flaps, split thickness skin grafts and Charcot reconstructions.
Dr. Donovan was a fellowship attending at FASCO during her years practicing in Columbus, Ohio until she moved to Cleveland, Ohio.
