Very good office I understand sometimes your wait is longer than 15 min but the Dr. Always takes time with you and listens to your concers and questions. Everyone in the office are very patient and caring.

Not concerned about the wait, because the office kindly squeezed me in late in the day, and it was worth it for the care I received.

Dr. Chirdon took the time to explain things to me and gave me time to ask questions. I have been to other doctor appointments and I felt like I was being rushed and the doctor wasn't really listening to me. I really felt like doctor Chirdon would have given me all the time I needed to answer my questions

Doctor learned I was moving to assisted living and asked about my heart health - after I mentioned some minor heart discomfort he ordered an EKG, Chest X-ray and a blood test. He prescribed nitroglycerin and I used it the following week and was glad I had it.

The concerns I had for the symptom I had helped me to let the concern go with the hope that no new similar symptomWill reoccur. He gave advice that typically would possibly be cause for concern if it reoccurred.

It has been years since I was able to see my primary care doctor the same day or next day. I would usually end up going to an urgent care. I had been advised by someone at the infusion center in *** at *** that if I had any concerns after my treatment I should go to the emergency department. My Specialist has 6 days a month they are at ***. *** I was grateful that I could get a doctor's educated opinion to decide whether an emergency room was necessary.

Excellent care. Dr Chiridon was patient and listened carefully to me, suggesting some options for me and a referral to a colleague. This was only the second time I saw this physician since my NP left the practice, but I thought he was very nice and attentive to my questions and my concerns.

Dr. Chirdon is thorough and very concerned about my health. He has referred me to specialists regarding specific health problems. He has been my primary doctor for quite a few years. When he moved to *** I still wanted to remain in his care even though the drive is over an hour to see him. I trust his medical advice and he is also a pleasant man.

Industry Relationships

University Hospitals is committed to transparency in our interactions with industry partners, such as pharmaceutical, biotech, or medical device companies. At UH, we disclose practitioner and their family members’ ownership and intellectual property rights that are or in the process of being commercialized. In addition, we disclose payments to employed practitioners of $5,000 or more from companies with which the practitioners interact as part of their professional activities. These practitioner-industry relationships assist in developing new drugs, devices and therapies and in providing medical education aimed at improving quality of care and enhancing clinical outcomes. At the same time, UH understands that these relationships may create a conflict of interest. In providing this information, UH desires to assist patients in talking with their practitioners about industry relationships and how those relationships may impact their medical care.

UH practitioners seek advance approval for certain new industry relationships. In addition, practitioners report their industry relationships and activities, as well as those of their immediate family members, to the UH Office of Outside Interests annually. We review these reports and implement management plans, as appropriate, to address conflicts of interest that may arise in connection with medical research, clinical care and purchasing decisions.
